WTH are you talking about. With that build you cant solo cap the war shrine. Ever. They just outheal your dmg with healsig. You also can't cap the monk shrine. Though I agree you can cap the necro, ranger and mesmer shrines.....just very very very slowly.

People say Avatar since it halves physical dmg... (+40 armou does that). And the speed increase, and the holy dmg, menaing little cna defend against that, (Rangers have natural defenses to nature, Warriors have natural defenses to Phyiscal, etc, you get around every one of 'em..

All those that sya it sucks, are probably the ones who say 'nnob' when they get killed by someone. don't pay attention to them.

For good defense, just go AoB + Conviction, then bolster with Faithful Intervention + Mystic Vigor + Mystic Regen.
Then just decide on what you wantto go for after that.
Some people like being able to keep their energy up so use Lyssa's Assault, others like being able to do AoE dmg... etc..

I personally despise AoB, and [skill]Avatar of Melandru[/skill] and [skill]Avatar of Lyssa[/skill] and [skill]Avatar of Dwayna[/skill] are all much better, the best being AoM for ABs. No conditions for a minute! w00t!

Have you not taken into consideration any of the build comments in the thread? ^.^

1) AoB is not the best elite skill you could be using.
2) Stop using so much defense.
3) Make a build that can actually kill things.
4) 320 base hp WTF?.
5) Make your own damn build, though it looks like you can't and that's why wiki exists.

From your OP you've used all your armour runes and insigs for nrg, which leaves you with FA health.
Use survivor insigs / vitae runes w/ a vig rune / whatever else and get at least 600 +/- hp and pack some heat in your build instead of making a virtual living sp-proof igloo.

I stopped playing AB a long time ago... Now I remember why

The build itself is bad, but don't just start flaming right away. He asks for a new bar, give him that instead. Let him go and realize it by himself.

After you learn how to play the game you can start improving builds and making your own, but that requires knowledge which you don't have.

Unless it's a "push 1-8 in order" farming build, running someone else's build is a quick way to fail. Pick an elite - obviously not AoB, but several others have been mentioned in this thread - pair a couple of skills with it, then fill the rest of your bar with what you need to boost efficiency. Play around with it, tweak it, get used to it, win.

Examples:
[card]Avatar of Melandru[/card][card]Wearying Strike[/card] - Mel's bonus is big in condition-heavy AB, easy dmg + DW with no drawback
[card]Grenth's Fingers[/card][card]Wounding Strike[/card][card]Irresistible Sweep[/card] - Wounding followed by Irresistible and another Wouding gives you DW covered by Crip covered by Bleeding, all aoe
