Default Been gone a few months...buffs/nerfs?

Hey guys-

I've been away since mid-sept and was wondering what kind of changes have been made (without looking through all the updates), mainly towards monk builds. When I left LoD, RC, and SoD were big. Any help as to what most people are using now in case I decide to go pug someplace...and what works in regards to pvp is what i care about lol. Thanks guys

This thread reminds me of that episode of the Simpsons when Mr. Burns gets shot, and at the end of part 1 when Mr. Burns blocks out the sun and everyone swears vengeance, Krusty runs from a cab up to the town hall where everyone is gathered as says "Hey Hey! I've been in Reno for six weeks. Did I miss anything?"



To answer your question though, yes, there have been changes. Big changes.

Look at the 8th November update, that caused quite an uproar. Other than that, SoD was nerfed (increased duration, increased recharge).

Here's a list of all Monk changes:
October 12
Reversal of Damage: fixed a bug that caused this Spell to stop all damage instead of the max damage listed.
Shield of Deflection: increased recharge time to 10 seconds; increased duration to 3..10 seconds.
Shield of Regeneration: increased recharge time to 12 seconds.

October 16
Shield of Regeneration: reverted this Skill to its original behavior.

November 8
Blessed Light: increased heal amount to 10..140.
Cure Hex: now affected by Healer's Boon.
Glimmer of Light: decreased recharge time to 1 second; increased heal amount to 10..115.
Healer's Boon: instead of an upkeep cost, this Skill now has a duration of 10..55 seconds and no longer ends after a number of Spells are cast.
Healing Breeze: increased duration to 15 seconds; increased Health regeneration to 4..9.
Healing Ribbon: now affected by Healer's Boon.
Heal Party: increased heal amount to 30..90.
Light of Deliverance: increased casting time to 2 seconds; decreased heal amount to 5..70; now affects all party members regardless of Health.
Restful Breeze: increased duration to 8..18 seconds.
Vigorous Spirit: decreased casting time to .25 seconds.
Word of Healing: this Skill can now target the caster; increased non-conditional heal amount to 25..150; decreased recharge time to 3 seconds.

Actually if I recall, WoH was never nerfed. Or at least not since I've started playing, which was a bit before Factions came out (~18 months I believe). And LoD has never been buffed, either. I think the correct phrase here would be, "everything crap has been buffed, and everything imba has been nerfed (and yes, LoD was imba)."

It was nerfed in pre-beta.

Is it just me or is now WoH kinda over powered?
combine it with chanelling and could you have a really hard to kill monk anywhere?
