Offering of Spirit Vs Offering of Blood
[skill]Offering of spirit[/skill] or [skill]offering of blood[/skill]
My objective is to run either a Rt/N or a N/Rt...and utilize one of those energy management skills. Do you all have a preference or think one is better than the other? I'm trying to incorporate a cross of skills between Rit and Nec, and I'm having troubles deciding which profession and then which Elite of those two. Any suggestions?

Either way, OoS is better, I think, since you don't need to spec into a nearly useless attribute. ^^

I think if you want to use one of these skills Offering of Spirit and going rt/n might be better. However if you go n/rt you get soul reaping an inherent energy gaining tool (that's often abused for tons of different uses).

Offering of Spirit is much better than Offering of Blood. It's good because you can spec into a decent damage attribute (channeling) and get a good elite. Also, as long as you have a spirit in earshot when you use it, you lose no health.

Offering of Spirit is better not because the skill itself is better, but what you use the skill with. A large portion of rits run channel and need energy management and is a good elite itself.
This is different for a necro. Besides having soul reaping for energy, some necros would probably prefer another elite (eg. Spoil Victor) if going Blood.
The majority of the time I see Offering of Blood used is when I see Touch Rangers in AB (booo).

lol, agreed. Tired of seeing these necros running around with mostly or all ritualist skills.
But on topic, OoS is much better snce you now have access to [skill]Splinter Weapon[/skill] and [skill]Ancestors' Rage[/skill]

If you go OoB, you can run Blood Ritual and Order of Pain, supporting both the casters and physicals.
If you go OoS, you can run Ancestor's Rage and Splinter Weapon, and do a lot of damage.
Personally, I like Blood/Restro hybrids with a physical heavy team.
