Oh god that is so true. So many times I alt-tabbed to browse through guru only to return to see all the mending and aggressive refrains have dropped off Hayda and Morghan or I've been gang-banged by a group of raptors and angorodons

I agree with this completely. Since getting Drunken Master and a Deldrimor rank of about 5-6, I haven't touched AR in PvE. A 5e, 1 1/2 minute long, 33% IMS+IAS is just too badass to pass up.
However, between AR and Frenzy... Definitely AR. Definitely.

Oh, and I never actually posted which one I prefer.
Aggressive Refrain. So easy to maintain, so less risky.

When I first started my paragon I was turned off by aggressive refrain constantly applying cracked armor. So I didn't wanna use it. I posted here about my build and everyone kept telling me to use it so I gave it a try and haven't looked back. I'd definitely use it over frenzy.

If your finding problems in the fact that you are moving too fast between mobs to chant, then you honestly have nothing to worry about -anyway-. The ability to take on tougher mobs should always be in higher regards then the convenience of killing weaker ones.

Always take fighter henchman with "Charge!". This + TNTF = nice "upkeep synergy". Charge's 20s, and so is TNTF.
And yes, AR is the best IAS option para can use.

Anthem of Flame is perfect for keeping it up.

Yes it is, but some people find necessity to stop per 10s for 1s annoying so yeah, shouts are better for those

Having tried out both, I prefer aggressive refrain now =P Frenzy has caused me to implode a few times, and with [skill]They're on Fire![/skill] keeping AR up is a no brainer. Only thing that gets me is e-edenial. Quicksand = paaaain.

Eh, TNtF works for that but requires a very precise and quick activation whenever it recharges. I generally do whatever one I happen to hit, or just let it fall and then activate again when approaching the next mob.

I always find it hard to remember to hit "There's nothing to fear" when it recharge. One way which i try to overcome it is to use a sup leadership headgear to cast AR and with the 4 more secs buffer, it helps alot.
Problem now is remembering to switch back to my actual headgear. (just joking)

Does that prolongue the duration for all recurring AR's as long as you keep it up as well ?
