Magmas, destroyer, anything flamey actually. I use Magmas on my warrior, sometimes grabbing out my FDS, just because it looks good .

go with something tactics based. strength is a useless attribute line.

The only really compelling reason to use Tactics often - "Watch Yourself!" - has been completely eschewed by "Save Yourselves!" on most builds. Tactics is agruably as useless now as Strength, even moreso - Strength has Enraging Charge and Flail, and confers a (pathetic) damage buff.

Like holymasamune said, magmas shields are pretty expensive.

sell the sword and get a different one that goes better with the 90+ other shields that are in the game

seriously though, its pretty much whatever you think will look best with your overall character, taking into account armor, male or female, shield positioning, etc.

Wahhh?? If you could tell me some decent tactics skills to use in the godmode dragon slash template, I'd be more than happy to use a inscribable diamond aegis...(still can't find a perfect strength one...>.<)

I recommend a Dragon Shield or Fiery Dragon Shield.

I think the Shadow Shield goes nicely with the FDS.

rush makes enraging charge cry and heal sig should still be on every bar. plus there are utility skills for when you want utility. you should still have like 8 points in strength to get your amazing armor penetration...

Not really for PvE.

Last time I had Healsig on my bar in PvE, it sat there completely unused. H/H covered by "SY!" can cover all your healing needs.

For PvP, myeh. That's a bit more long winded... In the end, I rarely opt to take a self-heal there, for a lot of reasons.

edit: for PvE, in all honesty - the only Tactics skill worth looking at right now is "Shields Up!" in a few niche situations. I'd probably try and slot healsig if I pug, but... I don't pug.

im not going to argue with you about healsig. i wouldnt run a melee character that dosnt make things blow up (meaning a non-AoL derv) without some form of self heal or defense. you would. whatever. tactics still has more skills that can actually be used than strength. they are both pretty bad though...

Str > Tactics
[skill]Natural Healing[/skill] > [skill]Healing Signet[/skill] or [skill]Lion's Comfort[/skill], end of story

Back on topic...
Magmas would go well With a FDS however it is expensive as previously stated.
Destroyer might look Okay too.

QFT.

I havnt used Healsig for ages, with decent heroes in NM PvE you shouldnt need a self-heal anyway.. For PvP thats a different matter.

Its a matter of opinion imo.. If you wanna take a skill which you probably wont use but keep it on anyway just 'in case' you need to use it, then fine. But why have a 'partially' wasted skill when you could use something thats going to make an impact.

Str > Tac.

/Exit off-topic mode.

Darkwing Defender, Emblazoned defender, Gloom Shield <-- All dyed black, maybe even an eternal shield (that was what my old war used in ascalon lol).
