Arrow AoB: Build
Ok, I took everyones advice and did some research on making a build for my D/Mo and came up with this (AoB is the only elite skill available to me)


Vital Boon
Avatar of Balthazar
Zealous Renewal
Heart of Holy Flame
Chilling Victory
Twin Moon Sweep
Heart of Fury
Pious Assault

Any suggestions on how to fix or opinions will be highly appreciated!

Get another avatar. If you have AoB already you're able to get the others. I prefer Lyssa and Melandru so get those

I know I am "able" to I'm just looking for a Temp. build and since AoB is the only Avatar I have ATM I have to use it.

no need for zealous renewal and heart of holy flame. Are useless buffs.
Add aura of holy might (damage is good).
Eternal aura is also a must with an avatar
Don't like Twin moon Sweep. Stay with Pious.

While I normally like warrior skills on a dervish bar, I don't really know what skill fits in this bar.
Mainly rely on auto-attacking with a zealous scythe and use the 3 attack skills as some sort of spike.

Heart of Holy Flame is a little redundant with AoB already converting your damage to the holy type. Maybe move Earth Prayers around 8 and include Mystic Regen as a replacement.

I also don't think that Twin Moon Sweep synergizes very well with the rest of your build. The enchantments you feature are ones that you want to keep up (especially Heart of Fury and Vital Boon), so I would probably include another Scythe Mastery skill such as Eremite's Attack.

I can't remember anyone in that thread suggesting you make an AoB build..

No excuse. All the other avatars are in areas linked from sunspear sanctuary. Go cap 1 that is worthwhile.

The other avatars are no harder to cap or farther away than Balthazar is. Lyssa, Melandru, and conditionally Dwayna are all vastly superior choices. Reaper's Sweep and Vow of Strength are also reasonably close to where you got AoB.

Yeah just saying "I only have AoB" doesn't work, they are all easy to cap.

ah AoB just played with it before the update 6.2.

I like how all the pre-searing cadet's pop on and show off their AoB build for 1 of their 1st posts on gw guru.

Anyone else notice this pattern?

Maybe you should replace Radiant Scythe and Lyssa's Assault with Mending and Healing Breeze...

So how exactly do you kill anything with that build?

I personally did the opposite

I got tired of gwonline and wanted to see what this forum was like, I'm still addicted to that forum though so I probably won't make a whole lot of posts here.
