Go /A or /W for Smoke Powder D, Dark Escape, Return, Balanced Stance, or Frenzied Defense...that way when a hammer war comes at you and spikes you, you don't die in a second...
|
I was told not to run Frenzied Defence instead to run Disciplined Stance or Shield Stance along with Balance Stance.

Going /W really sucks, honestly. Frenzied Defense will get you owned by eles, balanced.. just why? Guardian ftw.
And not all teams you go against have enchantment strips... only the good ones.

Erm..don't use frenzied defense without prot spirit and an ele on the opposing team :/
And why balanced ? Because of all those knocklock warriors and annoying sins ?

Chanelling sucks in RA. Waste points in Insp and get barely any energy back

lol
I generally don't bring any 10 energy skills in RA... it's not like HA or GvG where they're attacking one to two players on your team, or if they're attacking more then that a simple rof will take care of it. RA you have spikes all over the place, so I have to constantly use 5 e skills.

/W for Shield Bash (<33333), Disciplined Stance, and/or Balanced Stance (Now probably obsolete with the addition of AoS from EotN).
/A for Return (more <33333), Dark Escape.

RoF doesn't save much on its own. Spirit Bond is esential for surviving when you're getting spiked or about to be. If you don't use 10e skills like Spirit Bond and Zealous Benediction then you are missing out my friend

RA, RA!!!
It's pasted on every build (except hb) for GvG/HA
Edit: I barely ever see a spike that can't be taken care of by Shielding hands or SoA in RA

/E for Kinetic Armor and Grasping Earth!
And most of you are overestimating the inteligence of players in RA. I will admit occasionaly you will go against some kind of enchantment striper. I will say 9 times out of 10 you dont get one of those.
All I ever see are E/D, Ranger with apply poison and interrupts, Spirit Strength Ritualist, and some form of assasin.

While I like grasping, Kinetic is a bit weak. Prefer to use that slot for GoLE

Today I played against a Mo/E using Kinetic Armor, Life Sheath, Grasping Earth, That one Air Magic none elite kd, and orison of healing.
I lol'd until he used grasping earth on me (me being a warrior) knocked me down, then ran away, and when I caught up could only do 10-20s.

Balanced Stance is still quite nice to have when you don't have another monk to use AoS on you (since it has to be cast on target other ally). It also makes many an assassin and hammer warrior cry.
Edit: Completely agree on Shield Bash, <3 that skill.
