1 en skills now?
Considering the assassin does alot more button pushing than the necro, and doesn't have the infinity energies that they have, wouldn't it be advantageous to make some assassin skills 1 en?
Its nice to say "Oh the assassin can snare as part of its utility" but after snaring they have to go use 3-5 attack skills over and over, which may not be easy or most effective with the assassin's energy pool, on top of their already low base damage.
I think it would be fun to at least let us play around with 1 en attack skills and deadly/shadow arts spells for a weekend or something, especially considering they did jack-squat for us in this last update.

They cost 1 energy because of the hp sacrifice.

and sin skills should cost 1 en because of the health sacrifice I take when I realize how 1D and underpowered the class I choose as my main is. t//_-t)
and necro is still an infinity energy class who can most definitely afford 5 en even if they are sac'ing health
point is how could this work on an assassin?

rangers shouldn't have energy problems either
the energy gain from critical strikes is nice, but since every attack skill doesn't crit, its not as effective as expertise
if A-net's going to do something stupid for one class, they should at least consider and experiment with it on a class that it might make more sense on.

Go A/N and for the buffed spells, and see how much their low cost will increase your chances of being victorious.

please stop posting about them, and post something constructive

the 1en skills have a sacrifice cost, and suck for the most part. would you like jagged strike to be 1 energy and 5% sacrifice?

I don't know about you FlamingMetroid, but my Assassin also has, more or less, infinite energy
He uses this neat thing that gives me from 4 to up to 20 energy in 5 seconds at no cost!
We call it melee spam with zealous daggers and critical strikes.

Herd critical strikes wuz gud.
Assassins don't need 1 energy skills, personally I don't think necros do either.

cause thats definitely WTF p0wn damage there isn't it >_>
I've been playing assassin for quite some time and have more than an idea of what I'm doing. DB farmer is incredibly effective, I know I've been using it since before it was on wiki, it is the most effective combination for PVE and does ridiculous damage. It just doesn't have any disabling or spiking ability, and the other builds that have disabling and spiking ability don't have good constant dps.
the point would be to make lesser skills 1 en so you could have extra energy for snares, or a more powerful skills like Shattering Assault which could then be used with more frequency. That way sins could maintain decent dps, and still have the ability to spike or disable.

Now your just being greedy. Energy management is the LAST thing we need to buff on assassins. Besides, they are supposed to be kind of a 'chance' class with critical hits. If you have energy problems, change your build/weapon/armor sets

You know a thread is bad when the OP starts derailing it. I don't like where this discussion (if you want to call it that) is going.
