There has to be a way to solo, or duo, all of these guys that spawn. Trapping is one, but it was nerfed. 600'ing....well....im not sure if that would work, 55 would definitely not work. So, what? Help me think....

i invented a way to do this duo its very simple but takes forever so i stopped doing it

necro:
Blood ritual
Masochism
splinter weapon

ranger:
barrage
dash
return/ recall (the maintined 1 not sure which is witch)

it works but its very slow due mainle to splinter weapon's nerf but if u need to farm it, you need to farm it

You mentioned 600'ing so I will assume that you have a monk out to the Gate of Anguish.

Trapping should still work. Just drag 2 trapping heroes with a shadowstep anchored on a third hero. Micro all the traps, flag the anchor hero away, pull, and presto! All dead.

Note: This is theory, really. I've not done it. Too much micro-managing for me, but I can't think why it would not work. If you can, please do.

Basically get as much health as possible to survive the initial onslaught of touches. The Mo/x puts both visages on the tank to drain the Stygian Hungers out of energy as quickly as possible before their life steal overwhelms the tank. Then, kill the Symbiosis spirit and it's just 600 tanking.

Killing the shadow army for Stygian Gemstones as in the other thread is probably easier, though.

Its pretty easy to farm them trio.
I use this:
E/Me - 16 earth 12 Illusion. (I play this part)
[skill]Ancestor's Visage[/skill][skill]Sympathetic Visage[/skill][skill]Armor of Earth[/skill][skill]Aura of Restoration[/skill][skill]Stoneflesh Aura[/skill] + More enchantments.
A Mo/X Bonder (hero) with
[skill]Life Barrier[/skill][skill]Life Bond[/skill][skill]Balthazar's Spirit[/skill][skill]Vital Blessing[/skill]
And last, a R/Mo (hero) with 3 Maintained Enchantments (one must be essence bond) and
[skill]Symbiosis[/skill][skill]Famine[/skill][skill]Edge of Extinction[/skill]

Easy Peasy.
You need atleast 2.3k health when farming them as an Ele (NOTE: A Mesmer with Mantra of Recovery can farm this just as well! [NOT TESTED, SHOULD WORK IN THEORY])

this is a guide i wrote quite a while ago to kill the buggers. still works, it's going into my new guide, hopefully coming soon.

with this, you dual with a hero, but you get all the drops.

and thats basically all you need...just cast suffering, run. use feast, run.

any char: you can actually get them stuck behind the npcs, but i don't know how to do this :S.

I do this with my warrior and 3 ranger heros. Template for trapping on Pvxwiki. Alternate energizing wind (due to nerf). Lay QZ and EQ then Arch Echo-Echo Dust traps until QZ runs out. Flag heros away. Pull thru traps. Collect drops. I cast EoE in the corner niche to lure them thru traps. Harder with fiends (rangers) so have to lay 2 traps farther away as bait to lure fiends thru traps.
This method requires 3 ranger heros and some micromanagement but its not bad once you get the system down...

Hit and run tactics, works on HM.

Splinter Barrage is nerfed and it doesn't work.
