55 N/Mo Wither Craw Stonereap solo
This is just a deviation from the stereotypical Spiteful Spirit Build as a 55Necro and can be used on many different enemies as well as bosses, but I'll leave the others for you to find.
Your build is the following:Mending,Balts Aura,Essence Bond,Wither,Faintheartedness,Life Syphon,Healing Breeze and Protective Spirit.See below for Attribute setup and weapons.
Craw is located outside the Altrumm Ruins. When you spawn outside set up your enchantments and head to the left.Theres a hallway with some Wardens lounging around in there, this will be the only mob you'll encounter.
Use Wither on the Wardens of Spring or Summer whichever spawns,as these are the healers.Tap the Wardens of the Tree with Faintheartedness to slow the attacks and drain their HP.Slap Summer or Spring Warden a couple times with Wither and Life Syphon and he'll die.Continue the same pattern on other Wardens,(watch for bleeding).
Ok so that mob is dead,(watch for the traps that are around),start up the hallway a little, while holding down ctrl you'll actually see 2 bosses visible, first one being Craw Stonereap and the second being Zarnas Stonewrath. Before the update Zarnas was easily taken down with this build but for some reason now he can keep recasting an aura which prevents him from dying..meh.
Anyways Craw is fairly easy, you'll want to first drop all your enchantments, second, swap your armor for something that gives you around 400 health. This includes swapping the -50 hp cesta for (preferablly Vilnars Glove) or whatever you have available.
Theres a wall that seperates you and Craw so his attacks wont hit you,he'll only be able to cast on you.He will use Lingering Curse which removes enchantments you have on you, this includes Healing Breeze so watch for that,He'll also use Suffering for -2 hp drain and Parasitic Bond, theres another skill he sometimes uses but nothing major.Ok theres Craw casting on you, wall seperating you,use Wither,Life Syphon,Faintheartedness on Craw and Healing Breeze on yourself, these are the only skills you'll need. Now you'll find energy may be a little tight BUT as long as Wither and Faintheartedness are on him he will die.Life Syphon is not absolutely nescessary but all together you will be ultimately HP degen him for a total of -9 and -2 energy degen.
He will drop the Green Stonereaper 20/20/20 req9curse +15 energy Staff.
This build works for numerous enemies and bosses but I'll leave it to anyone to tweak and find other uses.
I suppose Life Syphon could be switched but I like it as a crutch.

It's nice, but you don't need an 55 n/mo build build. You can use an ss n/me energy denying build that will kill stonereaper, stonereaver, and zarnas in one trip.

Before the newest update this build allowed you to solo them all in one shot as well, but like I said Zarnas Aura has been changed and he doesnt seem to run out of energy, ever.Have you tested the Edenial build after the update?I'm not to familiar with any N/Me builds other than the SS/SV build as I exclusively play as N/Mo..but I'm thinkin' maybe its time to put all the mes skills to use soon..anyone know a good N/Me build to start with?

I've use the ss n/me e-denial build on scar eater after the update without problems. I never tried it on zarnas after the update. But zarnas takes longer to kill because ele's have alot of skill points in general. I'll try it if I have some time, but it shouldn't be affected by the update.

Ok, a couple things-
1.) Unfortunately stonereaper prices have plummeted from 15-20k to like 5k or less.
2.) You don't precisely need a n/mo 55 to do this, as many have said. Anything will do (I did it with an A/Me, A/Mo, Mo/Me, and just regular monk).
3.) For those wondering how you could kill Zarnas with the e-denying build:
Modify the build to bring Backfire, Arcane Echo, and Empathy. My assassin can take Zarnas + Stonereap in 1 run (working on the monk, hard to do it due to skills needed).
Echo Backfire on Zarnas from behind the wall next to the pool of water. When he gets low on hp, use Empathy (you don't see him wanding b/c he's behind a wall, but the AI forces him to do SOMETHING, and because he can't cast because casters can no longer suicide through Backfire, he HAS TO attack. So, empathy will kill him.)

I'm not sure about the N/Mo, but [skill=text]Chilblains[/skill] now does more than 55 damage in the area, which kills my W/N 55 that previously had no problems farming Craw. Maybe Craw wasn't correctly using the skill previously as i don't recall him ever using it on me when i used to do the run.

someone gave me a free stonereaper in ascalon city a few weeks ago, because she needed to clear out some storage...
i'm gonna guess its not worth it to farm stonereapers anymore, lol..

so, why is this build using wither instead of spoil victor which is much much faster especially if combined with necrosis???
indeed chillbains will kill the 55 unless... you're enchanted with Protective Spirit, dmg goes first - ench removal last
chillbains used to be PBAoE so that might explain... 55W/N?? why? :s whithout ps that's somewhat useless

Sure it is, probably not as 55. My R/Me can farm him and ele boss ahead of him too. Famine + Spirit Shackles = win.

Last night I ran into him while trying to get some factions with a hench / hero crew and a crap load of minions popped up by Craw. I had my survivor charactor and about soiled myself. Is this a random spawn? I faintly remember it once before but all the other times he was always by himself.

guys, look at the date of the OP...
Craw has become a lot more difficult to farm, but i can still get him + Zarnas + Meril with a modded 55 SV build (in Hard Mode of course):
16 Blood
8 Heal
10 Prot
rest in SR
[skill]Protective Spirit[/skill][skill]Healing Breeze[/skill][skill]Spirit Bond[/skill][skill]Parasitic Bond[/skill][skill]Spoil Victor[/skill][skill]Essence Bond[/skill][skill]Balthazar's Spirit[/skill][skill]Mending[/skill]
the tricky parts are getting through the wardens, killing Craw, and killing Meril. the wardens in the beginning are easy, but they get tough if there's more than one healer. cycling SV around should get the job done. hint: KEEP THE RANGERS ALIVE. you'll need them as energy batteries against Craw. the first part is tough - aggro craw, then wait for his lingering curse. as SOON as it finished, recast prot spirit, then healing breeze, then Balthazar's Spirit. the warden ranger will keep you at high enough energy to maintain these, as well as SV on Craw. he dies fairly quickly. Zarnas, our next bos, is a breeze - you can hide behind a wall if you like, just SV him and watch his health go down. Meril is a huge pain, as your energy batteries don't pull that far. maintain balthazar's spirit and mending, as well as keeping PS up. cast PBond, let him smite it off, SV, cover with PBond. he'll die.... eventually.
overall, it's not a very good run anymore, thanks to the fact that the greens aren't worth much, and tome drops are one in a billion.
EDIT: just saw the update today, this isn't gonna work anymore.

On the contrary, it works quite well to farm Craw, Zarnas and Byzzr. Warrior was the only class i had in the area, so I knocked out a a 55 SV build to farm them through the walls.
