So apparently I fail
I've always been a GvG monk.. Or TA, and my guild just joined the QuCo alliance, so we're pretty much pure HA now.
It's really kind of hard changing from my beautiful WoH infuse to the ugly HB infuse in HA... and a lot harder too. Apparently I fail at it, anyways.
So, are there any tips guru can give me to HA monking? I'm usually running..
[skill]Dwayna's Kiss[/skill][skill]Orison Of Healing[/skill][skill]Infuse Health[/skill][skill]Draw Conditions[/skill][skill]Holy Veil[/skill][skill]Heal Party[/skill][skill]Channeling[/skill][skill]Healer's Boon[/skill]
Skill 5 and 6 are purely at request..
Edit:
I know how to Channel Tank, the only time I really can't get something done is when I have a pd on me..

If you're going with channeling, be prepared to spam orison and dwaynas kiss on recharge, and possibly use draw to gain energy as well depending on how many foes are around you. Be prepared for all red-barring and no more skillful protting. It always amazes me when monks bring infuse on HB simply because heal other is a 300+ point heal, but whatever.

first, are you in a 3 monk backline or two?
so im not really an expert but heres what i know about HB in HA:
DK individual people who are low (dur)
keep your energy at all times above 15. i know that sounds odd but try your best to do that. you never know (well you do but youre not gunna magically regen 15 energy before they hit the spells... except high set which is immensely useful when HB in HA) when your team is going to get deep freezed into an SH or Rodgorts and you need that quick heal party.
remember that spotless mind (20% ench switch (for 3 hex removal)...like you should be doing with HB) can be a good replacement for veil, also a 200 health cure hex can be invaluable. sad part is you can only take one, but each is best against a different enemy build.
personally i dont like orison and i do not use it. it can work very well if you position yourself properly with channeling, but most of the times i find myself throwing around DK if i actually need to heal someone.
if you are playing with an prot & WoH monk, just use heal party when the majority of your team can benefit from it. and keep energy for an infuse. its not too hard if you practice with a core team of monks and know when you can rely on them.
so dont take this too professionally, this is just what i have learned over the HA teams i have been in. also there was just a huge overhaul in party heals so dont be too surprised if this falls out of favor pretty quickly... now a prot monk can have heal party skills too O_o

If superduperterrifico means bad, I agree.

Well I went again tonight with a pug
(guild kicked me out of spite.. lol.. and apparently I 'fail'.)
Got into HoH twice.. didn't win, but got there, didn't let people die. We lost because of calling error.
Anyways, thanks for the kind suggestions, and lol Arkantos.

Mark of Protection is better because it basically means you don't have to do anything for 10 seconds!
The downtime is easily remedied by going /R and bringing either Serpents Quickness or Quickening Zephyr with around 12 spec into Wilderness Survival. Also make sure to bring Trolls for a self heal since it's like healing breeze but can't be removed.

Playing HB Monk means you press the button that activates Heal Party. Don't not do it.
