How does this build look?
Dervish/Necromancer
Scythe Mastery: 11+1+3
Earth Prayers: 10
Wind Prayers: 10
Skills:
Plague Touch
Mystic Sweep
Lyssa's Assault
Attacker's Insight
Ebon Dust Aura
Staggering Force (I haven't yet gotten an Ebon Scythe... )
Mystic Regeneration
Dwayna's Touch
Usage:
Keep the three enchants up at all times (EDA, MR and Staggering Force), use Attacker's Insight en route to your target, and open up with Lyssa's Assault, gaining 12 energy, then Mystic Sweep. Use Dwayna's Touch as needed if you are receiving hate from a Ranger or Ele, and Plague Touch to put conditions on your target.
I've used this build in RA and it's VERY good at melee shutdown, and in certain cases casters cannot do enough damage to counter your healing/energy gain. However... enchant rips... DESTROY this build, as do anti melee hexes.
I also would like to know how you guys would improve it, seeing that I do need an IAS, and wouldn't need Staggering Force once I get an Ebon Scythe.

You highlighted your problem:

If your build is raped by enchant strip then remove some form of enchantment so you are not decimated when you go to any of the harder areas with a wide variety of enemies - HM kryta for instance!
instead of EDA for an elite if you want a better build use something like [skill]reaper's sweep[/skill] as your elite...much more efficient as EDA only works effectively against melee foe...oO and RA is not a good account of your build...full of people with either no idea or testing new builds for a laugh (2nd for me <)
anywho thats why it is =fail you highlighted your problem...enchant strip...hex doesnt matter as monks can remove those with ease!

I would swtich dwayna's touch with faithful intervention. But that is mainly because I avoid wind prayers altogether in favour of mysticism.
If you are in a heavy melee dominated area then yes reaper's sweep is ideal, if its a necro/mesmer dense place then VOS is preferable.

IMO you'll be having energy problems very quickly. AI + LA is a great energy combo but still, in an enchantment-build you need mysicism for at least 3e gain per lost ench.

You didnt say what the build was for. Is it for PvE or PvP, and if PvP where?
If your running it in RA, no rez = fail, sup runes in PvP is a bad idea in general, and if your playing PvP then unless you have the skills/weapon swaps you need you should just make a PvP char.
Also, whats the point of the build? A blindbot? If so, a D/P with a spear would be better.
