This kind of quest has been in place how many times now and Anet never picked it up?

Do Anet not run through a click list of things to check for when creating quests, like ways players can exploit it or something?

Maybe if Anet changes this so players can 'farm it' they could learn something - "before you release something make sure it can't be used in a way you don't want it to be used."

Judging by Gaile's reaction and how fast she was in making sure the design knew about this - and to get them working on it - it makes me wonder how hard it would be to get a job at Anet. I can make simple quests that have such obvious ways of farming or exploiting or whatever you want to call it. Hire me, hire me.

"This is DEF. a problem and should be fixed." How about this, Anet "really really" thinks before it releases stuff. You know, make sure there isn't going to be a 'problem' before they release it to players who can think of ways of doing stuff that ANET obviously can't. Then, at least, Archaic you wouldn't have to champion the fight in exposing this. Never been involved in the this event before so I don't now how drops work for it, but this seems like such a boring way for any playing member to get stuff.

However, maybe I've got ANET wrong and this is a really simple of catching botters.... nah.
