Rt/D PvP. any good?
this build any good?
vamp weapon, crit hitting for 95+5, no 20/20 unlocked for pvp
boon is there just to cover spirit strength from pious
tested it in ab. works great with a good monk. took out 3 luxon warriors + made a player ranger run away with just me and a good monk. hit the warriors for ~150 with chilling

Since Spirit's Strength adds +damage, the amount of DPS it gives is dependent on the attack speed of the weapon you use; thus a scythe, with its slow attack speed, is a poor choice. Additionally, Pious Assault on that bar will strip Spirit's Strength, which is very bad.

Nice reading.. Vital Boon is to cover SS so it is not stripped from Pious...
Seems like you are running this in AB right? Anything other then AB I would say just run dervish..

not designed to be defensive. but that is the only logical weapon spell choice. weapon of aggression would be ideal, except 10e every 10 seconds is a little to much. and boon is to cover spirit. crit on near 2 outa 3 hits for 100 damage auto attackind isnt to bad imo.

Hard to be "too defensive" on a 60 AL character in frontline.

You're a squishy frontliner. This can work in RA/AB, but in serious PvP you're most likely going to be easily killed.

I played Spirit's Strength a LOT in PvE/PvP.
And I can tell you it is epic fail in PvP. Seriously, if you want to deal melee damage, roll an Assassin or a Warrior or a REAL Dervish.

Rt/W axe would be pretty deadly
At least better than Rt/D because of faster attack speed of the axe...

I would think so too, but I have NEVER seen a Spirit's Strength warrior axe (or sword or hammer) build. Never ever ever. Everyone's para, assasin, ranger, and occasional derv...

- For Great Justice + Wild Blow? My brain cannot compute....
- Vital Weapon? I personally prefer either Weapon of Aggression or Splinter Weapon to trigger SS
- I'd drop Furious Axe, Swift Chop and Wild Blow for something like Dismember or another adrenaline attack or use something like YMLAD

I like Spirit Strength build. But the real problem with spirit strength build is not really damage dealing but survivability. That's why many choose secondary range physicals (ranger and para) for the SS build. Going melee, especially in PVP, is not really advisable.
I have Rt/W SS build that uses bonetti's defense but I've never use it in PVP. However, I've used it extensively in PVE (H/H not with pugs) with a good result, not great, but good enough.
And I have an armor set with some Ghost Forge insignias specifically for Spirit Strength build.
My take.

The biggest problem is that most of the best warrior attacks are adrenaline based (as expected), and the biggest advantage of the rt/w over the w primary is more energy regen allowing for more energy based attacks. However, since they for the most part suck, no one really brings rt/w.

I was trying weapon of agression + attacker's insight Rt/D, kinda works for low-end pvp types like ABs.
But your build seriously need a running skill and e-manage, running the build mod with weapon of agression its dps is around 49, about the as same as a shock/axe cept for -56 armor.
Conclusion : Wanna use it, play PvE or AB, not suitable for RA or HA.
