Low end? Like RA? lol
This wouldn't harm a fly in RA imo...

frenzy in ra is perhaps one of the worst skills to run in organized teams such as ra or some random pug teams in ta/ab. When i fight people who use frenzy in RA, it seems that they cancel their stance usually after 3 seconds of taking dmg. With this in mind, a Rit/Sin Spirit Str spiker can spike in 3 seconds, and sins can do spikes in about the same time. A ranger can easily use a Prepared shot spike on a frenzied sin (Prepared shot, Sundering Attack, Penetrating attack, and maybe salvage shot) within a 3second time span. Im not saying all people cancel their stances within 3 seconds of taking harmful dmg, but this is generally how long most ppl take. People focus on concentrating on killing enemy mainly and they do not anticipate atks as much. Hence, a frenzy on a sin even with a cancelling stance is really useless because one strong hit will prettymuch take away half ur hp (a direct phoenix for instance will do about 180 about ona 70armor target x2 on a frenzied sin which is 360 roughly in less than a second)

frenzy on anything but a warrior=fail
frenzy on a warrior who knows how to play corectly=win
frenzy in AB=Idiocy
"organized" teams in RA please tell me what RA are you playing in.
and random teams in TA please I wanna know where you go for pvp.
but also I do agree with your points most people can't run frenzy right who play in low end pvp.

meh.
I am hard core frenzy on warrior only, but if it works it works. though flurry might accomplish your means better than double dmg but what works works

Frenzy can be used on any melee class as long as they can use it properly.
I wouldn't say its better on any class (although Im sceptic of Dervish Use)

I just dont like the less armor on the other classes personally.
and with the other melee classes I would say
ranger-they have their own that work just fine and flurry probolly works better
Sin-Tigers or something like that is really all that is needed for quick spikes and if they are running pressure then flurry works better then frenzy in that case
Dervish- Umm ya I am with you on this one
warrior-I think we already know what i say about this one
paragon-I really have no clue but still I dont like it on them.
That covers the classes that go into melee a good bit.

Para's ain't melee. Nor have they any lack of armour.
SY! is better on Para than Warrior because there's less risk involved
Frenzy is better on Para than Warrior because there's less risk involved.
On top of that Para's have e-management.
'How do you like me now huh?'
EDIT:
Frenzy > Flurry on Para. Not only the duration (and thus e-investment involved) but also the fact that c-spacing means actual pressure, and I'd like to keep it that way. For the Sin, it's an entirely different story of course...

Oops. Forgot that it should be a 'melee character' for this argument. Otherwise my answer would just have been 'Give him a spear'.

Axe 'Sins might be plausable if built correctly, though strictly prohibited in anywhere but RA and maybe AB, though mostly RA, using stuff like Cyclone and TC, maybe Keen chop, the stuff that actually benefits from criticals. Then you could use stuff like Crit Defenses and Way of Perfection for nice survivability. While it might not be as good as some of the other assassin builds (MBlossom/Horns, Crit Scythe, and SP to a much lesser extent), it will beat the hell out of most assassin and warrior builds.

I run a swordsin in RA with Sharpen Daggers, Gash, Malicious Strike, Critical Defenses, Assassin's Remedy, Hundred Blades and Way of the Master.
12 swordsmanship for max sword damage
9+3+1 critical strikes for max e-management
9 tactics for a full powered shield.
vampiric/ebon sword of enchanting (+15/ench)
shield +45/ench, -2/ench
survivor insigs for 525hp... I think surviving degen is better than taking less damage from melee when it has a 25% chance of hitting.
There are tons of replacements for the elite... it's kind of just the only thing I could think of at the moment.
You could drop the 9 tactics in favor of maxing out critical strikes, and then running blessed insignia instead of survivor... This means you're running 80 armor with an 8 armor shield instead of 70 armor with a 16 armor shield.
Then... those extra three points... could really go anywhere.
NOTE: Sharpen Daggers DOES lay down before Malicious Strike and Gash hit. This is a time saver!

SO what advantage does this hold over say, a warrior running a warrior build or a sin running a sin build.
My guess is it's creative or more fun...

I'm not sure whether you'd want to rely on an article on tanking for PvP setups.

I was wondering why no one pointed this out before. Also, why would a Sin be tanking with, you know, Frenzy?
This is just another gimmicky axe sin build as far as I can see, but I guess it can give lulz in RA(probably to the other team >______>).
