it doesnt surpise me that they did it. Me and my Friend cleared almost cleared the whole Chaos Planes with 600/Smiter. IDK if it can work. get 2 600 and have the Bonder Bond both and have the both take both sides of the grp. But if you wonder a 600/Smiter can clear the Whole Chaos Planes on HM with no problems. Friend has done it with Hero and got 4 Ectos in 1 run and gold or 2.

I just tested the run with a necro hero and it worked. Well, actually I died at the four horsemen because my hero had the wonderful idea to run straight into them (still 4 ectos in that run) but at least I got there. So yeah, I'm just letting you know it's doable with a hero if you can deal with their *wonderful* AI, but I'm not trying it again! However, I'm not gonna be talking about it in my guide because it's so much trouble (need to micro the hero too much).
Still, if you plan to do this with a hero I suggest you try some smite/whatever runs with a SS necro hero for the practice. (You should set a hotkey to order your hero, and hotkeys to cast his main spells)
About the guide, I'm hoping to release it by next week (although it might be in two weeks), but again, it will depend how much testing we can get done by then. I still have a few builds in mind and I want to release the best ones. Thanks for the wait, I promise you won't be disappointed!

Farm the Wasteland that what me and my friend do, make rofly 15-20ectos in few hrs from what he stated to me and after seeing it in person. A run only takes 40mins tops that my guess. it works only problem is the energy for the 600. But Mo/Mes 600 with ToF build can do that whole place with no problems. Guessing they went to the 2 grps in Horsemen Quest and have the tanker, tank them while the SS casts SV on Monk so he cant get interputed then dish the dmg out with SS, that my guess how it was done.

Looks like it is 55/ss, just probably arcane echo on the monk to keep up spellbreaker? I would laugh if it's just the basic build and nothing special on it.

There are several builds that work but this was just the simplest (without pve skills besides SS res).
I expect Cerb will post all the different builds we tried at a later date.
Also Cerb quit pming me flames, I can show the bar I used if I want, you are writing a guide about it >_>

6 hours.
Cerb decided, at 1 am (my time) to go afk for 'school' or something, so 2 of those hours were sitting around waiting for him.
We also went really slow because I wouldn't let him aggro anything big in case he exploded suddenly and we would have to start over.
Could probably be trimmed to 3-4h easily.
Total drops, for the record - I got 7 ecto, 10 rares, and 1 diamond (from chest).

To add to what Avarre said: I died in the very beginning because I wasn't paying attention (could have done it all without dying easily) and we did all the hardest parts first (Four Horsemen, Bone Pits, Spawning Pools) and avarre wanted me to great grandmother aggro for the easy parts (smites, unwanted guests, forgotten vale)
But I suppose you could do this all in 3:30, maybe even 3 hours if you go fast enough.
As for the drops, I got about 8 ectos (2 from chest), 2 diamonds and I gave all my rares to avarre for his title.

its not even about the rate of ecto/time spent.
Its more about being able to actually do that some of those quests for me. looking foward to it.

Aha, so you (avarre) lure 2 groups from 1 side, to the other side where cerb is waiting (or vice versa cerb lures to you) with the help of ele resistance (and maybe an echoed SB?). Of course not crossing the reaper, but picking the enemy groups up the other way around?
Also, I can imagine it can be a pain for Cerb to deal with the Dhuum guys and their powerblocks (even if you have mantra of resolve, I believe the skills still get disabled?). Yes, you have SB at the start, but with only arcane echo you can't constantly maintain it right? And there's way to drain them with SV/AV (since there's no melee around). So, I'm veeeeeeeeeery curious
