My best guess is consumables and pulling all groups together near the tree.

- Ganni

EDIT: Just noticed he's maintaining 1 enchant but has more than 1 boost on him in the upper left corner.

The guide/build info will come when we (or at least cerb and jay) have time to test new stuff.

I started playing GW again this week, bought NF and EOTN... and of course I went to UW

I didn't get to try hard mode yet, but if anyone cares, I took some pics of a nice build I've been playing with for the standard Monk / Necro 2-men run. I still prefer 55/SS over 600 hp/bonder combo, I'll let these screenshots speak for themselves:

I used to prone Monk/Warrior over anything else back when I wrote my guides because Spirit Bond took 1/4 to cast and didn't expire after 10 hits. However now that it isn't a reliable solution anymore and SoA casts in 1 second, interrupts become a problem again, hence Mantra of Resolve.

Let's get back on topic though: 55 vs 600. I *think* monsters do not flee from damage caused by HW/Retribu in HM. Don't bash me if I'm wrong, I have been away from the game for over a year and just came back a couple days ago. But if that is the case, I would prefer 600 for HM, and 55 for normal mode, for UW anyway. A good SS and a good 55 will always be faster than a 600/Bonder team and clear quests much faster as well. (I sooo don't wanna try Ice King/Escort of Souls/Unwanted Guests with a bonder, they would take forever)
You know, it really isn't nice to try to hide your builds. I don't like it when people do this kind of crap, you post a build, and then make people guess, and if your going to do it... do it right, don't post the build in another thread and forget about it.

I have nothing against you Cerb, I just don't like what you did here. So...secret is revealed.

About what "I did there": I am not making people guess what my skills were. Otherwise my thread would be called "Guess what skills I used to kill four horsemen with a 2-man build", and I would be answering every reply saying "wrong", "close", "you've got it right", which I am not doing if you look at my posts.

I posted this thread because for those that have been doing UW forever, Four Horsemen has pretty much always been the hardest quest to beat from the hardest area there (Chaos Planes), and the only small team to have (at least publically) success at it was Sno's team, a little more than a year ago (they did it with 3 people), and now we've done it with 2.

It is something to expect from my guide, I'm just generating some interest, trying to show that it's not going to be the "same old, boring smite run".
Your being odd. You make a thread to go "Haha, builds a secret, making guide."

I am not knocking you Archaic so, please don't take this the wrong way, this is just my opinion.

I think I have to take cerb's side on this one. He was very up front in his OP and said that he and his friend had finished the quest but, still wanted to try a couple of different things. He also stated that he didn't have alot of time right now, and last stated that he wanted to put some time into the guide to make sure it was a good one and not just halfa...

I think he was just excited that they found something that worked with 2 people and wanted to let the community know that. And that sooner or later there would be a guide on exactly what the build was and how to use it.

Anyway I am looking forward to seeing it and trying something new.

That would be fantastic, although I guess a bit of a hit for the Ecto prices. I don't mind since I'm not farming my ectos to sell, I'm farming them for my own use on FoW armour sets

I can't wait for this guide

The thread was created in the screenshot exposition, for the purpose of 'hey, look what we did!'

It was moved to the farming forum, which was pointless as it doesn't help here.

yeah, that's the usual way you do things.. if something is difficult you DO NOT try to get as many competent on board to get the best solution.. you try to do it on your own so you can get all the credits for your 1337ness.. [/sarcasm]

sorry cerb, but although i appreciate your effort to share your knowledge with the community, the way you do it is just meeehhhh..

btw.. the horseman quest is or at least was d(u)oable since the 600/smite build came up.. my buddy dunkoro is my witness..
