Be patient, money doesn't come that fast. The real secret is to not spend much unless absolutely necessary.

Just complete missions, do them on Hard Mode for better drops, and let the cash stack up.

Another option would be to learn a run.

The best place to look if you want to get a lot of gold really quick is the Farming section of the forum.

Some additional advise, I've been playing for almost 3 years and the most gold I've ever had was around 70k and that was when you could get 30+ plat for Superior Vigors. It doesn't help that I give a lot of valuable items/weapons away to guildies and friends.

The only legitimate way that I've seen to make tons of gold is to farm a Lot and sell your green/gold items in areas like Lions Arch, Droknar's Forge and Shing Jea. Another way is to buy low and sell high. I personally find farming and merchanting extremely boring and therefore remain poor.

Agreed. I made 141k+ pretty quickly just by doing a few dungeons and vanquishes. I find farming much too boring.

I suppose you can make a good amount by farming if you don't mind doing the same thing over and over and over again, but my attention span is very short when it comes to things like that, so the amount I make by farming compared to just normal gameplay is a lot less.

Also.. I stopped playing the other eight of my characters and just stuck to my main to avoid the temptation to buy yet more elite armor sets for them, which is where quite a bit of my gold usually ended up.

The rest went to people in Kamadan and LA, two places I've made myself stop going to except in the very last districts because I can never stop myself spending insane amounts in the others when I have trade chat on. -.-
Stay away from them!

We should also ask you where you are in the game and what you need the cash for....

Chances are you might not need as much money as you think if your just starting out and looking for max armor/weapons or skills.

Well if you know the troll farm another easy farm, though the drops arnt great they do stack up, are the minos south of Temple of Ages. There right next to a portal so clear out your inventory first so you can zone and keep killing till your fully loaded.

as others have said, not spending any money when you don't need to is a really good way to get cash :P seriously. personally i find that i make enough cash to get around just by simply playing the game. Otherwise you can check this page or this for some tips and builds ^^
