anything zealous, +5energy with either a +5 defense mod or a +30 hp mod
lots of poeple will tell you to use a 15^50 rather than a +5 energy mad, but it dosnt really matter on daggers as the extra damage only works on the 7-17.

If you want cheap, green (doesnt necesaritly mean good), max dagggers, then the Claws of the Broodmother go for about 1.5k now. They could suit you until you can save enough to get some with your exact stats.

Well you have a couple of options...
First buy a cheap green set of daggers that suit you well, this way you won't have to mod a pair yourslef. Here is a link to wiki that shows all green daggers in the game, as well as the mods on them http://guildwars.wikia.com/wiki/Assa...uick_reference
Once you find the pair you want just head into Lions Arch/Kaining/Kamadan and ask to buy the daggers you are looking for. At the same time you can say the price you are willing to pay, and since they are green daggers chances are you will get what you want. Just be willing to be patient, if they are obscure daggers, it may take a little while to find a seller. However, this is a good thing because that means they will just be glad to get rid of them. Also I would say 95% of green daggers are between 3-8k, don't pay more then 10k
The second option, and probably more expensive option is to mod a pair of your own. This involves finding a skin you like which this wiki tells all the skins. http://guildwars.wikia.com/wiki/Daggers With this option you have to buy the mods though, so a 15^50/+5 costs 1k, zealous 1-2k, +30 2-3k. In the end this is the more expensive route, but you get the exact skin you want.
As for the green pair I suggest Mallyx's Zeal, unique skin and awesome looking daggers.

A cheap green set like the Ceremonial daggers will do you fine. Basically, zealous is good - the other two mods are preference (I'm a 15^50/+30 fan meself)

As everyone so far has said, Zealous is very good since it provides quite a bit of energy management with your attack chains and such. Another good set to have is vampiric, which will give all of your attacks 3 life steal and that adds up quickly with all the dual attacks you get often.
However, if you only have enough cash for 1 set, definitely zealous as your first choice of mods. Inscriptions are kind of weak for daggers, +15% is only +1 damage per attack, and +5 energy means you can only use one extra 5 energy skill per battle, so choose one of those based on whatever you want. For the dagger tang, +30 health and +5 armor are both about equal for general PvE, but +20% enchants is very nice if you are using things like Critical Agility (which you should always be using) or Critical Defenses (which you should be using in any physical heavy area). So I would have to recommend +20% enchants for your last mod.
To sum it up: Zealous + (15%^50 or +5 energy) + 20% enchant is my recommendation.
Unfortunately, there isn't any greens that match this that are cheap, but you can probably get the mods rather easily.
Pywatt's Talons : +15% enchanted, zealous, +20% enchants
Daggers of the Hierophant: +15%^50, zealous, +20% enchants
If you are willing to sacrifice the +20% enchants for armor or health mod, there are a great many greens, so I'll just link you to the assassin green page on wiki

I don't see how Critical ____ get any better with +20% enchanting. They refresh on critical hits, so the only benefit is if you're not actively hitting. That then leads to two conclusions: you're attacking, but not hitting or you're not attacking. The former means your midline needs to start fixing up the situation, and the latter means you should be focusing on getting to your destination, whether to attack or kite away.
Moreover, Critical Agility lasts long enough that if you don't get a critical hit while affected by it as an Assassin, something has gone horribly wrong, and the enchanting mod won't be of much help with your situation.

yea coloneh is right the skin is purely for looks. The mods are what really count. This makes guild wars balanced in the realm of weapons we also have similar systems for armor.
however some daggers deal slashing some piercing but thats only a damage type and neither one has a advantage over the other

I was wondering: Daggers with a +15% and customized for +20% gives ~23.5 which is slightly more than a sword. Am I correct?
