been farming crazy two days, still no icy or fiery blade axe T.T if anyone would like to trade one of theirs for a bunch of gold items (max or near max, many inscribable)+a necrid horsemen to boot, PM me here or in game Balthazar of Source. So far still waiting to get one of each from this place, REALLY WANT ONE OF EACH FOR MY WAR! Great place, decent drops, only thing is mobs are far from each other heh.
What are the ideal mobs to kill if I'm looking for icy and fiery blade axe? I usually do the three mobs of spiders plus the mob with the para boss (and any other ibogas i cannot avoid, i dont like stormseed, lightning surge is too annoying to deal with though very easy =])

build kills 80 mobs, combination of insects, skales, slithers, stormseeds, and ibogas, timed run for all 80 is 15 minutes.

Due to the number of low damage golds, and barely getting any at all, so far, it's medicore.

There are several reasons why I didn't make this as a 55 build guide;
1: 55 builds are by far the most common types of build for solo farming in GW. IMO, we didn't really need another.
2: 55 builds are by far the most expensive to set up, owing to requirement of 5 superior runes as well as normally a full skill bar including an elite. This is especially true of monk 55, due to the cost of the runes. The core of this build is only 4 skills - Stoneflesh, Stone Striker, Mantra of Earth and Sliver Armor, the rest is adaptable. It doesn't even need an elite to do damage, making it ideal for players who are new or inexperienced.
3: One mistake while you're 55ing and it's all over. Protective Spirit goes down and one or 2 hits will kill you. Forgetting to refresh happens to the best of us. in the case of the E/Me build, this is far more forgiving.
4: I dislike 55ing, for all of the reasons stated above. Therefore, this is the ideal sort of build for anyone who shares my sentiments.
Other reasons why this guide is as an Ele:
VWK builds work on most of the mobs here, but they're ineffective on the bosses, neutering a potential source for profit. (Tested by my guild leader.)
I don't have a max level Necro or Ritualist on my primary account.
Sliver Armor: This skill can deal over 1000 damage in a single cast when used on a boss, (both of the bosses which are killable with this build have around 1000 health,) in 12 seconds. It's one of those skills that grows in power with the more that you aggro, making it ideal for this sort of work. It's not even Elite, which gives you so many extra options. And it's yours for a mere 1k and one skill point.
The purely defensive part of this guide is extremely easy to apply in team based PvE play - 3 skills to make your ele a damage tank with almost unlimited energy.
And lastly:
To everyone that's saying they can't be bothered to go all the way through Factions to cap Shockwave, it can be capped after Arborstone - the 4th mainland mission in the game. With heroes, all 4 of these missions are a walk in the park, believe me.
p.s, I'm going to test some variant builds tonight, so I'll post up some new stuff soon.

well, in regards to your point under 2: it all started with the 105hp monk solobuild. It's hardly surprising why monk runes are the most expensive ^^

I got req 9 Inscribable long sword here yesterday. Spiders dont always drop nice stuff but there are a few gems to be had.
I also got a req 9 STR GOLD Istani shield (-5 20% / +30 hp) from the spiders yesterday. Best drop I have got on n00b isle thus far.

Works good, getting some golds every run. Will this work on the corsairs in Zehlon reach?

Remember that a lot of the body parts should be hoarded for Wintersday or other holidays. For example, I have a huge pile of juvenile termite legs -- and quite a few warrior tomes as well.
I've been going straight Slivernewal, but if the build listed here works it's a little faster, having a one more damage spell (and an elite at that).
Actually, it's the first time I ever added Mystic Regeneration into Slivernewal. That spell ROCKS, even at a very low level of Earth Prayers. No problem with the Blighters; Mystic plus Ether Renewal = plenty of health recovery.
But I can't handle the Ravenous Gaze Mandragor Imps AT ALL. And when enough Storm Jacaranda gather in one mob it's pretty hard to make it through all the knockdown.

Anyone mind sharing the 55 monk build, becuase the run takes over 30 minutes. SoJ scatters the mobs too much and takes like five minutes per mob. -.- Any suggestions?

You just have to time when the KD from lightning surge lands. Don't cast when the icon starts blinking, unless it's a 1s spell or less in timing, or else you'd most likely have it interrupted. Make sure your vital enchants have a few seconds on them before you receive the KD. It's really not that difficult, as it's always going to be one KD at a time - the hex doesn't trigger multiple times just because all 3249832 mobs cast the same spell on you o-0 I do the entire run with a SS Mo/N though, so maybe it's tougher for other classes, I dunno. Just a few tips
