hmm how bout a sin axe build?
well there is a hammer one but wouldnt a sin/w with axe be alright
since the high crit hit rate you really dont need to worry about the huge gap and you can hold a shield idk just a thought... i will try to throw something together for you guys tonight and post it up

Yep, one of my Hero sins is an axe Sin and he is absolutely unstoppable. His damage output thanks to the critical chance vastly outstrips a dagger sin. I have the maths somewhere because I spent a week calculating if it would be more or less effective and worked out an average DPS that quite frankly terrified me.

i have done just about every crit wep build fo sin and i have found that spear, scythe and axe r the most effecive. however it is in your best intrest to stick with an elite such as way of the assassin for peak-dmg and then use cyclone axe instead.

This whole goal of this skill was to open up some A/W stuff, it's pretty narrow focus and thus will probably be a while before it's buffed if it does get buffed unblockable is a neat effect for it. Izzy @-'---- 23:23, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
I asked on the discussion page for a viable Axe Sin build... xD...^^
Because some people said, Sins should would rather use a Scythe.
|
Indeed they will rather use scythe :P
They should make it an A/W skill :P
I.E.
If this skill results in a critical hit, this attack has 5..50% armor penetration and target foe suffers cracked armor for 3..20 seconds.
Maybe I may of made it overpowered..But the definition of keen is:"Having a fine, sharp cutting edge or point."
Makes more sense at least :P

There is no way that an an Assasin with an axe would do more damage than a Moeibus spammer in PvE.

Nope :P
But Anet should consider specific features to skills to make asassins make use of different weapons. That would make em more popular, as if it weren't for the skills, daggers would be shit.

Well, you res allies with a res so... That's what the res is for in that build.
If I understood your question correctly.

So...this assumes that you have a dead ally at all times?

It assumes someone is going to die at some point and that more people will die if your monk stops to rez.

Lol I nearly got survivor on my sin from just normal gameplay. They are not squishy at all.People are just stupid >_>
They have as much armor as a dervish or ranger.
Why do people continuously insist that sins suck?

Sorry...I was totally zoning on this one. I have been doing so much research on sins that I am focused on skill-chains. So, I was confusing this skill-set with a skill-chain. My bad ya'll.

And bows, probably swords, hammers, scythes, sins use whatever the hell they want.
Way of the Master, Critical Eye, Crit Defenses, High critical strikes, you have the basis down, now all you have to do is think of skills to compliment. PErsonally I like the idea of Triple Chop, keen chop would be nice too, to make sure you always keep up Crit Defenses. Perhaps Cyclone axe?
Have fun with it man, if it works it works.

Dark Apostasy, Way of the Master, Critical eye, other stuff.
It's nice for ripping enchantments.
