Well, a good template for any "nice" 'gon build is basically:
2-3 attack skills
Agressrive Refrain
A chant to maintain AR
Support Skills
As long as it isn't full support, or full offense, you'll be golden.

I find Vicious Attack -> Spear of Fury makes a nice little spike, and adrenaline filler while under AoF.
Could be used to fuel stuff like Hexbreaker Aria -- dependant on the situation skills like that are sexy.

yep. there are MANY other builds that are effective on a para besides the overused "imbagon". para is a very fun proffession, imo, and has 'very' good party support. ^^

More like imba.
Even if you're not playing an Imbagon, you have strong offensive and defensive value.
You're still imba, even if you're not playing an imbagon....

the skills that tyla salanari posted are the "core" for a para build, you can basically run anything on that build . Song of Restoration, Song of Purification, Stunning Strike, Cruel Spear, Cautery Signet, Defensive Anthem, "It's Just a Flesh Wound", "The Power is Yours!".

Song of Purification, Defensive Anthem, Stunning Strike and Cruel Spear are all good options, depending on your playstyle. I dislike the tactics line on a Paragon, it waters your attributes down when you could just take SY instead.
In the end the best bar to take will always be the Imbagon - if you're not prepared to take the best possible bar to support your team, try a different class. Go with a Fast Casting Mesmer with -
[skill]Arcane Echo[/skill][skill]Echo[/skill][skill]Mending[/skill]
You'll turn yourself and you're whole party into indestructable tanks!!!111one!!112 This pwns in Pre.
