Yay for Nub Questions
So, while I have a little bit of gold saved up, I'm going to try and work on getting skills for Ogden, and would appreciate some help.
My only PvE 20 is an Ele/Mes from Factions and I have every campaign except for Nightfall. Beaten Factions and in the process of EotN as we speak, just so you all know where I am. Only completed about 3 Proph missions.
1) Should he be Heal or Smite? (Alliance said Smite, but want to double check).
2) I need a simple, effective build if possible to achieve this.
Help is appreciated, thank you.

Fix'd
Don't confuse heroes with bad skills, least of all Healing Breeze (and rez )
Seriously - for a monk hero, give them WoH and Kiss to heal, maybe hex and condition removals, then fill the rest up with prot prayers. You can always disable them and force-cast Aegis if needed.

Alrighty, I have everything except Dwanya's Kiss (About to go find it since I don't have much unlocked in Proph) and the Signet, which I cannot find on Wiki.
Not to sound rude, but did you misspell it by chance?
Thank you for the help.

Signet of Rejuvenation isn't that bad, true.
But AI is stupid - it will cast the weak-ass signet on a dude that ought to be biting on a WoH before he bites the dust.

If it's heros alone, u might want to use balth fac to buy the skills instead of using money. But I wouldn't waste the balth factions - with 5k you can get a zaishen key and sell it for 2.5k.

Word of Healing / Dwayna's Kiss / Cure Hex / Dismiss Condition / Aegis / Protective Spirit / Shield of Absorption / Guardian
12+1+1 Heal
10+1 Prot
8+1 Divine
Is my current Ogden, IIRC. Except everything apart from Word, Kiss and Cure Hex end up disabled a lot of the time, I force cast Aegis and bind Prot Spirit to a key so i can use it myself.
Really though - you might not end up using Monk heroes in the end; other classes make better heroes for your limited slots.

Ah. Well, all I have Hero wise is Ogden, Vekk, Gwen and Livia. I use Livia as an MM and that's it so far. Should I use one of them and/or not use Ogden at all? =X

I always find the heros are better at one thing or another not two of them. This is being healing or protection.

Ogden only ever saw use for me as the smiter in 600/smiting...
Stupid Dwarf DUNKORO FTW if you must use a monk hero, which i dont.
As for builds for them to use... no complex spells, and only 10e spells to bring are prot spirit and aegis... rest get wasted by AI
