First I have a Black Widow, but it was Hearty and it doesn't fit for my thumper build. So when GWEN came in, I charmed a new pet, the Polar Bear, but it was a little bit stupid. Then I charmed a Rainbow Phoenix, but it's an idiot chicken. It's so big that I can't see anything, it's too loud and it has an ugly face.
My current pet is a Dire Black Wolf, and I'm satisfied with her ^^

Mountain Eagles are very pretty, although i don't like them when they close their wings. (Not a very good image btw)

I used to have the blackwidow (Elder) but it is too small. I prefer my Polar Bear which is loud

Dire Polar Bear.

2. It's a BEAR!!!
3. It has Brutal Mauling skill which no other pet have!

I suppose it is unique to have Brutal Mauling. But, it is a complete waste of time. That is why I swapped to the Poar Bear.

Brutal Mauling:

This skill makes Black Bears able to activate Paragon shouts, such as Anthem of Envy.
I'd say go with whatever pet you think looks the best. Other than some pets doing slashing dmg and some piercing dmg there isn't much difference except appearance.

Actually, doesn't Brutal Mauling activate anthems like Anthem of Flame? I'm pretty sure it does, and if you have no pet skills and a paragon on your team, rock on.

On topic, the crab is superior to ALL pets.

Hmm, my all time favorite pet would have to be between the Black/Snow wolves.

Had a snow wolf prior GW:EN, my first pet and got me through proph, factions, and most of NF, was named Balto

Switched him in for a black wolf, then grabbed a Raven.
