Double Lightbringer Points: Weekend Special
I have gathered some information for people as to how to go about farming for Lightbringer points for this weekends special. Below is a list of each area, the time it takes, and how many points you recieve.
The Mirror of Lyss. 72 points. 5 minutes.
Chantry of Secrets. 74 points. 8-10 minutes. (Between a Rock Quest)
Resplendent Makuun. 54 points. 6-8 minutes.
The Ruptured heart. 140 points. 16-18 minutes.
Hidden City of Ahdashim. 200 points. 15-18 minutes.
Domain of Secrets. 274 points. 19-20 minutes.
In a 20 minute scale:
The Mirror of Lyss. 288-300 points.
Chantry of Secrets. 148 (Between a Rock Quest)
Resplendent Makuun. 120-160 points.
The Ruptured heart. 220-240 points
Hidden City of Ahdashim. 200-230
Domain of Secrets. 274-280
As you can see, the Mirror Of Lyss gives you more points for your time. Not only that, but you also get a chance of some type of item to drop(ex. Ruby Daggers) which have a chance to salvage into Gems Plus 3 out of 4 runs there is usually 1 chest which counts towards your Treasure Hunter Title. 1 out of 4 runs you have a chance to get 2 chests. I would estimate a 35% chance of a gold item from these chests which count towards your Wisdom Title Track. By far this run is the best run I have run yet to farm for lightbringer points.
The group I use for best overall speed:
Master of Whispers: Minion Master
Zhed ShadowHoof: Searing Flames Nuker
Acolyte Sousuke: Searing Flames Nuker
Mhenlo
Kihm
Cynn
Herta
I use a warrior build with mostly adrenaline skills because the Roaring Ethers on this run which there are at least 2 in every group you come across, use Energy Burn so you run out of Energy quite fast. At least for a warrior as I only have 2 Energy regen and 20 Energy max. Can't say much for other builds but if you use the same hero/henchman I listed above, you can just sit back and watch as they kill each group very quickly.
Hope this helps those of you trying to decide on which area to run for this weekends event to try and max out their lightbringer title.
The file I included below is a screen shot of my run in the mirror of lyss.

I think the best farming place is outside gate of secrets..I think thats the name.anyways..you use as much monks u can with smiting skills,1mm or 1ss and some melee,npc's..u can get 250points of lb in 20min.but since its double weekend you get 500lb..that is 4000lb points in a hour.if you farming lb all weekend its no problem getting the holy lb

goto abaddons gate, leave from there,, you can amass more points than any of those areas by clearing it all in the right order and visiting the correct priests

from the looks of it, Mirror Of Lyss is a good location for solo farming for LB points but it would be beneficial for an organized group to farm the creatured affected by Lightbringers gaze that are relative close.

not that I'm wanting to share any spots I like... but I would try spots most ppl hate and wouldnt consider....
lets just say, when u walk right outside of the Gate of Fear it is scary....
sure glad there is a rez shrine 5 feet from the door... and those groups dont come running up toward the top there unless you shoot them with a bow.... bet if u setup right.. like 1 rt with some spirits, 2 monks, 3 nuker eles, and and 2 whatever type... 5-7 mins you could have 75 points then walk right back in... probably would be alittle slower with all henches and heros though...
but dont try farmen points there, cause its scary.... ohhhhh.....
Dont try if you have no experience with pulling and targeting... and death happens to everyone sometime.... also... try flagging all your heros in 1 spot the first time... that will show u what ur up against...
this area isnt farmed for points because alot ppl cant handle the pressure, and it is very monotonous...

Again. Mirror of lyss is 5 mins and that's 72 points. And is A LOT easier. You die, it takes more time. I made this post for speed. But if you want to go to this area to get 3 more points and chance wasting more time, be my guest.

Again. Mirror of lyss on a 20 minute scale is roughly 300 points where what you just said is 250 points. I made this post for speed. But if you want to go to this area to get 50 less points, be my guest.

Again. I made this post for speed. Not everyone has a char that can solo DoA. And you can farm for better drops any time. Double LB Points isn't something that happens all the time.
Come on people. Read the starting thread and don't debate it. Mirror of lyss is far better than any other area. Its beneficial for a group or single. And it don't matter wether you use LB Gaze or not. If you go farther away from the Mirror of Lyss, the chances of dying are a lot higher. Tis the reason for speed. And very easy to do with hench/heroes. This weekend is about maxing your title. Not drops. Not to prove you are better than someone and get it done in a higher area. But be my guest. Farm where you want but I did my homework. I know where im going. I just figured I would help some of you out and keep debatin it. That will just wind up making me stop helping. A simple thanks would have been sufficient enough.

Oh and one more thing. My Acolyte Sosouke is only level 11 and I still have no problems what so ever. Try that in domain of secrets and see how far it gets you.

Ok, i've tried the Lyss farm and like it (my sosuke is also lvl 11). I also know that doing this over and over again will trigger the anti-farm code (before you flame me, i know that the farm code does nothing to how many LB points you get). My question is does the anti-farm code affect chests? (as i enjoy chest running in lyss as well) I'm pretty sure chest running won't trigger the code, but with the code active in that area, will the chests be diminished?

This was how I got some of LB points before I started AFK farming. I don't know how much you get but it's a very decent amount and you also get 1-2 chests once in a while.

500 every 20 minutes..so * 3 would be 1500lb an hr, not 4000..

Getting farm code in the mirror of lyss huh? Farm code will not affect the number of chests in the mirror of lyss as there will always be 5 chests in that area no matter how much farm code you have. However the items that are contained in these chests can and most likely will be affected.

The template for my warrior build is as follows.
OQMTENJX1Rp8UgjQIAAXprETAA
Any build pretty much works cause like I said, if you use the hero/hench lineup from above you can just sit back and watch. Even tho that can be a bit boring. But you will fly through it like nothing.

I use the steady warrior build...
max (weapon of choice)
max tactics
rest in swords
steady stance
drunken blow
desperation blow
soldiers strike
watch yourself
plauge touch
healing sig
res sig
granted there's better options, its just what i use everywhere. i just activate steady stance on my way to the mob and hit one of the blows when i get there, it gives me nrg back to continue the chain
