Default Do you like farming sunspear points? HALE YES!

I was just messing around on the newb island or whatever you wanna call it, and I did this weird quest that took me to mobs of skale, with a skale hunt shrine right by it.

I thought you needed the quest to get these mobs, but you don't!

Here's where you need to be...
Jokunar Diggings, there's an exit to Fahranur, the first city. Go out this exit

What I use
My Ele at lvl 14 won't die, so I use her.
My build...
1. Stone daggers
2. Obsidion Flame
3. Aftershock
4. Ward Against Melee
5. Armor of Earth
6. Aura Of Restoration
7. Earth Attunement
8. Glyph Of Restoration

Milius Pillar
Armor at 30 from Jokunar Diggings.

The run:
Go outside and immediately turn to your right to the rez shrine and get skale hunt. There will be a skale patrol walking by, just let them pass we want a 15 plus mob. Go down the RIGHT bridge, and kill the group of 3. These will be lvl 15, but not really a challenge if you use the build right. All you have to do is put earth attunement and aura of restoration on, then when you aggro put on ward against melee and armor of earth. Use Aftershock repeatedly (whenever it's available) And stone daggers whenever else. And if you want to finish one off or something use obsidion flame.

After that mob, there will be a doorway to your right, go through this but have attunement and aura on, there will be skale walking through any second. Just repeat and kill them.

Running down that path there will be a rez shrine and a wall with a mob of skale on the other side. Go down that wall (NW) to the gap. do not go through that gap a few higher leveled skales will be coming through. One or two of them will be ranged, so just shoot em down with stone daggers. Then go through the gap and into the mob. These will not attack you because they're only lvl 2. Get right into the middle where there's skale going everywhere, put up your buffs, and aftershock. Most of them will pull but there will be a select few that wont come, just wand them to you.

After this you have about 20 more sunpoints. This entire run takes about 2 minutes, and I've gotten from my 500 rank to 1479 in one hour.

Just a newbish farm until we find more

By the way, I almost forgot why it works.
You are an ele, you are squishy, it says on the nerf updates that enemies wont move if they believe they will kill you. Also you basically kill them in one aftershock so they really don't have time to run away :P

Hope this helps, and have fun with NF!!!

i think you'll need to adapt this build/strategy to farming ssp's on kourna. 2 a kill doesnt really compare to 7

Best place to farm Sunspear Points is Remains of Sahlahja. Get a full party of 8 and head out into the Sulfurous Wastes. Talk to the guy at the shrine, and jump into some wurms. (thats right, no build needed). Immediatly to your front will be a group of Awakened, so kill them (a big sandwurm may attack you here, so kill it). Then continue west a bit and kill the second group. In about 2-3 minutes (5 minutes at the max) you have 144 points to add to your total. (And this is just as easy on hard mode, just remember to kill the acolytes first).

I already have one that's right outside Yohlon Haven. Bug shrine right outside Yohlon. A little to the right is about 10+ bugs and I farm all of them with the blessing which is 4 Sun points. So I get about 40+ sunspear points each run plus lotsa good items. I got a +30 HP shield handle form one run.
