how long does it take you to kill the boss? i used your build and it took me ages. i ended up ditching the enchantments because i got no energy and gradually wore him down.

It takes me about a minute to kill him, it does not take long if you spike him with riposte and deadly riposte.

I also recommend a zealous sword, it is the best way to keep your energy up.

I must try this out! Good find, I was farming these guys for golden eggs and bunnies during Easter now I'll farm them for golds and tomes.

yeah 55/SS
boss can take a while though. about 1 min,
a mob of 5 only takes about 10-20 secs and they scattered

just use the standard ele build.. would be must quicker, except for recharge i guess

ok I spill a little secret, you can "newage 55" the minos, just switch the mes skill for echo, echo your SoJ and its as easy as standing around. but make sure you watch the 20sec couter orelse u'll lose the extra SoJ

If your slack or just wanna see these horn headed @#$%!@ drop fast just take a hero ranger with brambles! the added bleeding is awesome.
But remember Heros don't share!

What would your average Ele Build look like for this area? The Average Ele Build is a PvE build that people use it groups that is often very uneffective, uses great deals of fire and has a player using the wrong weapon.

Creatures in HM have the best AI available, or so Anet says . . . so when you aggro a bunch of them and start to SS, do they still scatter? Or do you have to take them in smaller mobs? I have a necro and warrior to try this farm, Ill try asap. Thanks for the tips.

They scatter for me, but I eventually take them out. I had some trouble taking them out at first, but after a little bit I got it (I saw the skill usage thing in order in your post). I've made 40k from the tomes so far

I gave the W/D Solo UW build a go out here. Mainly because i couldn't be arsed to change anything major. Cept i switched out Rending Aura for Endure Pain and boosted Strength to 16.

Worked pretty well. Could take down fairly large mobs of Minotaurs with ease due to the 80 + 20 + 10 + 20 + 42 armour vs Physical damage. I took the Warrior boss down to pretty low health... but then it started using Healing Signet and i couldn't power through it. I could probably tweak it slightly by removing Enraging Charge (Endure Pain was really needed in extremely large overlures like the large 1 outside the Iron Horse portal) to be capable of killing the boss, but i'm not sure how yet ^^

Drops were absolutely awful though...

I tried this like 2 hours after HM came out with my 55 monk. Easy farm, lots of golds, but nothing good. I got like 3 bad golds a run (Merched). My build for anyone interested:

SoJ
Arcane echo
Blessed signet
Mending
Blessed aura
Balthazar's spirit

You could probably remove blessed sig for ignorance to kill the boss.
