Yes, Burst of Aggresion or BoA has been nerfed. Assassin's are still good, an IAS is just needed to replace it. Possibilities : Tiger Stance, Lightning Reflexes, Tiger's Fury, Flail..

My best bet would be Tiger Stance.

What are your thoughts on this?

Or I guess Tiger Stance if you use Expose Defenses..
Or Lightning Reflexes..

but I'd go with Flurry for now

haha we posted at the same time.

Flurry > all, only like 2 damage reduction on sins. Tiger stance is also good because if an assassin misses, the chain is over anyway.

GJ Anet, I applaud this action. People actually have to THINK now instead of resorting to the cookie cutter build that has plagued this game since the release of NF.

Even though it is only the IAS, I think its a great step. The build was extremely overused.

not when you also have dark prison in the build

sounds like a lot of energy, but its actually manageable with the right equipment(+5 energy daggers not needed)

yeah, its assassin's promise. great in pve, not so much in higher end pvp.

as for the replacement, flurry or tiger stance will still work fine. with tiger, if you miss, your chain is usually doa anyway. and with flurry, its only about an average of 5 or so dmg off of each attack. same same.

My assassin has 42 energy.

I have absolutly no energy problems. LR/AP/DP=Veryfastdeath

In PvE I don't bring res or heals, so I'd bring return or recall.

I've been trying the boa sin with flurry instead. It's not as deadly as before basically i can't kill targets in one combo (unless they have death penalty) as i could before maybe it's because of flurry's lower damage or maybe the nerf to black spider i don't know.

Lightning reflexes is too energy consuming.

First 10 energy for expose, then another 10 for shadowstep(shadow prison), then 10 for lightning reflexes and 10 for black lotus. That's 40 energy just to start the chain. Nah lightning reflexes is not good in this build.

I would say tiger stance is the best to go for now. Frenzy is too risky even if you have someone maintaining protective spirit on you. Flail works but you can not surprise people if you don't have adrenaline.

I'm gonna do more tests with tiger stance instead. 4 seconds should be enough.
