I was wanting to see a good build that has n/d with scythe

I like the general concept, and deep wound on a caster is definitely nice. The thing is.. it doesn't have much survivability, even with Consume Corpse.
Maybe go ele for Stoneflesh or some crap.. or monk for a 55ish thing.

Well yes and no.
It's true that the build itself has a higher survivability rate when you got a lower HP (which on it's own is a bit strange)
Mystic Regenration has a better regen offer when you got less HP to recover.
BUT that also means that you're a big target for massive spike damage.
Also you're very vulnerable for heavy degen.
While Mystic Regeneration has a +3 health regen per enchantment, any heavy degen build can easily overpower your regen into a degen and then you have to rely on Signet of Lost Souls to recover the health lost. And with its rather high rechargetime this is not a valuable countermeasure.
Never the less it's a build suited fo rRA and AB so i'm sure this build can have it's effect when you rush into a Whammo who thinks he can kick the living **** out of you because you're a squishy

you are not as vulnerable as you think... this is what i run in AB
[card]Contagion[/card][card]Dark aura[/card][card]verata's aura[/card][card]Wearying strike[/card][card]Signet of agony[/card][card]death nova[/card] [card]mystic regeneration[/card] [card]blood of the aggressor[/card]
basically with this many enchants up... you have over 10 regen with mystic regen...
and even if they get you... you will takem out in the end...I soloed many a melee fighter with this build....(beware grenth dervish)... at one point I took out two sins by myself and was still standing

Great build. I'm also using it for my master of whispers and it seems to be working for him too.
[Edit]
Just took Master of Whispers with me to help a guild mate get his 15 attribute points in Tyria. He kicked A** He's like a pit bull. I love this build!
I'm using [skill]Contagion[/skill][skill]Dark Aura[/skill][skill]Mystic Regeneration[/skill][skill]Signet of Agony[/skill][skill]Wearying Strike[/skill][skill]Death Nova[/skill][skill]Soul Feast[/skill][skill]resurrection signet[/skill]
I use Death Nova for a bit of extra damage and Soul Feast for a health boost once he starts to rack up some kills.

This can also work very well as a D/N. The damage output is comaparable, but with higher armor, and the opportunity for some mysticism enchants.
I posted the D/N variant on wiki a few weeks back. If anyone has experience with the build, positive or negative, feel free to contribute.

Notes; do not be condescending in replies, i realise i know nothing.
ok here's the deal, i want to start a necromancer, and i want to look ahead and plan a build for reaching lvl 20. It's going to be PvE, i just wanted to now if this build is worth any bother using in PvE? or if there is any build similar to this? or if there is anyother form of necro - tank using a melee weapon. (never used necro before, well actually i have but that's for another time.)

Well, you're not gonna be doing much tanking with this build if that's what you mean. Mystic Regeneration is hardly enough to keep you alive against high level mobs. This build would work in PvE, you just can't be the first one in.

normal first five skills
Then try armor of sanctity, convition, mystic regeneration. These skills won't stop a mob from running over you, but they will definetly keep you alive longer in those 1 on 3s and 1 on 2s.
I find it easy to kill sins and rangers, a little bit harder to kill warriors and paragons, and pretty hard to kill eles (especially since so many of them do massive AoEs in RA and AB).

Perhaps you should also point out that he read the date stamps on the posts? Or would that be too helpful?
