Wondering if anyone has a suggested build for the doppelganger? I have a survivor character trying for the next title. And I am about to take him on. I am an Elementalist / Mesmer, and I have only searing flames and double dragon for elites.

Domination: 12
Energy Storage: 12
Fire Magic: 3

Add runes and head piece as you'd like.

Skills:

Flare
Backfire
Signet Of Capture
Rez Signet
Fire Attunement
Aura Of Restoration
Ether Feast
Aftershock

You could just have Flare and Backfire only, so its upto you.

Cast Backfire, and move around. Let the doppleganger cast flare and die.

The SF build is fine for killing doppel. He doesnt use the build right so GG.

E/Me, you said? You only need two skills:

1. Empathy (max out Dom)
2. Blinding Flash

Keep the dopple blind and let him suicide. Gg.

Thanks for the build. I used the flare/backfire concept. Should have did it with my Mesmer when he did it. I did not even have to move he killed himself in about 10-15 seconds. I took Flare/Backfire/Imagined burden/Arcane echo/Aura Of Restoration/signet of power/ Resurrect signet/ signet of lesser energy. Before I lit up the last rune to enter the rock I activated aura then signet of lesser energy arcane echo and then entered. I casted backfire waited a couple seconds casted backfire again. Thanks again for the help I am 52,000 experience points closer to the next title

just take all the attunments, firestorm, meteor shower and flare.

he will first cast all the attunments while you cast FS, MS, and flare to finish it.

i killed my dobbelganger under 30 seconds with this build.

heh my fav dopple build is high cast spells and savage shot as an e/r, he died quite fast..... lol

I just took a boatload of useless enchants and a spam spell...
He wastes time attuning himself up, I wtfpwn him in the face with Ice Spear.

I killed him in about as much time as it took to cast meteor shower followed by fireball and one flare. Straight up. Then again i was a secondary warrior and took frenzy. HEH!

[skill]Iron Mist[/skill] bringing this skill (and not using it yourself) guarentees you a victory against the dopple, just pair it with your choice of non-air nukes.

Easiest was having Meteor Shower, 2 attunements and flare. He wastes his time on the attunes and MS, you just pop him with flare quickly
