hm I can understand the thread bashing and such as I'm sorry that it seems that I've just created another thread. However, I was just posting a video that I made for fun on my spare time. I figure it would be more appreciated here than in say the Nolani Academy of Arts forum where some of these videos end up.
In any case, I've been getting a couple PM's in game about the new guide so I'll share a bit more info.

1. dont expect much as this may contain mostly known info (those that monk a lot at least)
2. It will consist of a "how to" section explaining building up your monk, what you will need as a farmer, etc.
3. It will contain a number of farming builds/locations compiled by myself and my alliance mates
4. Videos (if I get the time), screenshots, helpful tips.
5. This guide will feature farming spots in Chapter 3 but will also have spots from chapters 1 and 2.
6. Probably my last guide (since it requires so much work).

Yesterday i found my 3rd dead sword, again non max damage...as usual
I also found a req 8 healing "pimp cup" there, which is pc'ed at roughly
100-150k! yay for me :-)

roughly how many runs did it take you to get a dead sword drop?

I did this run maybe about 6 times never seen them holding a dead sword or anything.
though u do make okay money doing this.

Only 1 question, are there max damage dead swords drops in this run? Because I had 2 dead sword (14-21 dmg), and also 2 ancient shield (gold, but not perfect... like +27HP).....

some peeps farm this for 3 weeks and still nothing. it depends alot on luck i guess

max dead swords do drop (however I havent gotten one yet). Yes it can take a lot of time.

I was lucky and got a vamp (-3,1) deadsword (14-21 req 8) the 3rd run I made and nothing for awhile after then I got my second drop (similar).

What you want to look for is to see if the slaves (the one holding swords) are holding a deadsword (this info taken off of guildwiki). If the slaves are holding a deadsword (or so wiki says) a gold deadsword will drop when it dies.

As you all know the stats on a drop are random and from what I have heard from other farmers max dreadswords do drop from this farm.

i wonder if a VwK would work here, u might not even hav to b a 55 rit, the advantage is, no KD+3 VwK in a row=quicker farm. also, i wonder why u brought 2 heros, i can get past the first group u flagged ur heros to with no problems, 1 hero, if any, increases drops definetly

EDIT: ummmm i just did the whole farm wit my VwK rit, wearing oracle armor(+10 while holding item) and 4 attunement runes.weapon doesn't matter, ur holding an item
it was easy, super easy, easier then am fah.

16 restor
10 restoration

blank spot
arcane echo
vengeful was khanhei
vengeful weapon
mend body and soul(not used)
soothing memories(not used)
generous was tsungrai
mantra of resolve

the run: it was super easy, without heros. the secret is to,because u need to aggro, the mesas and crags, they don't do much, try to not aggro the awakened. very easy, same plan as his vid

for the aggro: cast mantra and generous before battle, wait a sec for energy to raise a bit(not being able to spam VW is ur worst nightmare), right before u go in cast arcane echo, now u hav 20 seconds to do wat u want, eventaully aggro them and cast VwK as wars close in, ur safe with mantra. now just spam VW whenever possible, they all die before the third VwK wears out.

thats a dead sword

just got a req 9 mac dmg one this morning very estactic about that

but their price is falling very very very fast....

req 9 used to sell for over 300-400k
now its down to maybe 100k+5e

cause well..... to many ppl do this farm :P

I have heard that this farm got nerfed and the spirits do not drop the dead swords. If anyone gets a Gold Deadsword drop from this farm any time after this post, please post that you did just so we can confirm that it is or is not nerfed.

my friend had a req 9 max dead sword yesterday...i had a req 9 too but it was not max

i also saw a guy with a req 8 max dead sword. but i didnt ask when he got it tho. might have been before dead sword was even a much farmed thing

Farm is not nerfed. Got 6 dead swords yesterday. No Bullshit. 4 were max. R9, 2x R11's, and an R12. My strategy is simple. I check the first group... If none are carrying a dead sword I rezone until one is. The ones that carry them are the ones that drop them. Works for me. Good luck and happy hunting to the rest of you!
