Please tell me this isn't hard mode. It's about as retarded as turning the whole game into DoA.

'you gain 45 max health' will insta-kill you...it's not +45 max health. Looks a bit like a suicide bomber to me

Flame temple corridor Charr skills, I'm calling it now.

Someone posted this build in Aspenwood earlier, it left me a bit "What the...?" (they were trying to say these are GW:EN skills).

If this is hard mode, they surely weren't kidding about it being hard. Puts DoA to shame.

I'm seeing a lot of panic here. First of all, we have no idea how the person that the OP got this from got the code. It sounds to me like he probably just strung a bunch of characters together based on the Base64 that makes up the template system. Even then, there's no monsters that I'm aware of that even use one of these skills. Heck, we have no idea if even just one of these skills will be incorporated into the game, GW:EN or otherwise. Personally, I seriously doubt that Anet would be silly enough to give one monster all such skills.

I think it's irresponsible for any of us to flame Anet for anything at this point based on this, for the simple reason that the code comes from an unknown source who obtained it from an unknown means and distributed it for an unknown reason, most likely to cause problems.

Simple switches can turn skills on and off. The data exists in both clients.

Live server = BAMPH! is off
Dev server = BAMPH! is on

It would be pointless and time wasting to create 2 differing clients since the point of the dev server is the TEST things in Live.

This is for you.

personally i think its the game server equivalent of Lorem Ipsum. They put these skills on enemies to test skills. Like the one for conditions.

Need to test condition removal? Spawn a monster with this skill.

I guess im on a split decision. If these skills are going to be the hard mode skills. It will be an incredible challenge. If they are to hard, re-balance. If they don't balance, we always have normal mode.

And reason for 3000% speed buff is obvious - its basically giving monsters teleport-like ability that they can use on will - to prevent carefull pulling (its hardly pull when your puller is immediatelly swarmed by monsters) or tanking (there is no longer point in sparing enemies around tank to make it work) or to prevent trap teams (monsters will literally fly thought traps and slaughter helpless trappers before they nocite they are recieving damage.)
This wont happen =) thats why anet is making it hard mode so people think of counters and such
for the speed boost people will use muddy terrain =) then everyone is slow =)

Cool Joke descriptions

They are probably joke descriptions for skills reserved for future use. It is quote common for programmers to write jokes in the program at places they don't expect the users to see. And "You move 3000% faster" is more fun than "Reserved for future use".

I think they are/were test skills probably to check for different types of glitches (e.i. max character movement with out glitching or something of that sort). You people are way too worried about this, the likely hood of those skills even appearing in the game with those stats is slim to none.

Dunno, then why is there ias and weird heath mod. ...

I would imagine skills used for "testing" kinda ... bland, and more usefull for actuall testing.

i.e.:

"Test Crakled Armor" - no att, no recharge, instant cast, no cost.
Target has "Crakled Armor" for 10 second.

"Beta Shadowstep" - no att, no recharge, instant cast, no cost.
Target has movement speed of 3000%
