Default Did Star Burst animation get changed?

It is just me or the touch animation was changed? If I remember correctly Star Burst animation was like Lighting Touch, Shock, etc. The character used to lift up in the air and touch his/her with both hands, like punching the enemy. Now he just cast the skill like casting any other self buff, IE Fire Attunement. Can anyone confirm?

Edit: Yes according to gwwiki, many animations were changed. In my opinion I prefer the old one. Discuss anyone?

yeh some of the skill changes seem a bit stupid...for example assassins promise looks like the assassin is trapping...and theres no way that assassins promise is a trap-_- also starburst is a touch skill...i dont see why it should be using the self buff emote....anet obviously ddnt think about it logically... i agree its definately annoying that the animation isnt correct but at least they ddnt nerf the skill itself...

They just broke some of the animations. Various spells for all professions are using the self-targeted, ritual, or trap animations incorrectly. I'm sure they'll fix it soon.

Yeah first time I realize it... Water Trident actually came from Elementalist's chest lol.... (just like when my male ele cast self enchantments)

I think they just fix it today!

A lot of the animations are meant to be changed, but they also broke a couple...

Is this a new type of animation for rangers only? In AB I saw about 3 different rangers, and there was this tiny blue thing circling them (IIRC there were 2, one going each way). Is this the new kind of prep? Some guy said it was Troll Unguent but I'm not sure...

IMO The funniest Animation is the 2s+ casting time on a Ritualist, while wielding a bow.
