help capping spirits strength
I have been interested in trying out a spirits strength build but I can't seem to cap it. The elementals around churham(i think thats the boss) kill me before i am able to do enough damage to the boss. I end up with 60% dp so i give up. i have tried do it with a channeling build and a restoration build with henches. can anyone give me ideas on how to cap this skill?

Um, maybe try Defiant was Xinreae to stop the Eles from using SF?
I had no problems with the boss...I jsut used henches, heroes, and my Triple-Chop Rit.

umm ... why do you kill boss 1st?
if its the SF eles which kill you off, they obviously should be obviously priority target.

Have you thought of going as a Rit lord? Shelter will make Searing flames quite a bit easier to handle.

Um, yeah, don't go for the boss first, pull the other eles, kill them until the boss is alone. At least, I'm pretty sure that's the boss we're talking about. The one in the cave with all the Djinn around it, right?

As a ritualist, you always a cheap way to do anything quite easily:
16 communing, 13-15 channeling
Spirits: pain, bloodsong, dissonance, anguish, painfull bond, vital weapon (to counter the sup/major runes)
Set up all spirits but dissonance. Pull with a bow and immediatly cast dissonance.
Then just use painfull bond.
Well, my spirits can kill most things pretty easily.
In the worst case, they will only kill one target. But you just have to run a bit, come back, and start again.
One by one, you'll get it.
Personally, I capped it recently and pull groups one by one (a group was about 3-5 monsters)
The group including the boss wasn't tougher than any other boss I previously fought. A part of my group died, but I was able to kill them all. The boss even died before his allies eh!
As others said, always kill the weakest to the strongest.

If you cant seem to do something in PVE, then you are obvioulsly doing it wong and need to change your tactics.
The suggestions on this thread are very good, also try a simple shutdown mesmer hero. Lock him on one target while you kill another. This usually takes a lot of pain away from most mobs.
