15K Kurzick Armor WTH!!!!
Ok I was originally going to get 15k Kurzick armor (female) as my standard armor, but I went with Luxon instead.
One of the main reasons I decided against it was because I saw someone in the game with it and it looked like crap. Very much unlike the pic they have at Guildwiki of it.
Now I was sure that it was the 15K version and not the 1.5K version. However, I recently saw another female wearing it and it looked just as beautiful as the pic at Guildwiki. So I thought ok, maybe I was just mistaken and it really was the 1.5K that I had seen before.
However, just tonight I saw another person wearing it and it looked like crap again. When I say crap I mean that it seemed to be very pixilated and the lines seem to be a bit "crunchy" if you know what I mean. Now I noticed one thing. The pic at Guildwiki and the chick I saw with it looking the same, were both undyed. The one I saw that looked like crap was more of a silver color, and I'm pretty sure that was what color it was the first time I saw it (like crap) as well.
So is there a known reason for this? Does dying it silver make it look like crap or is it some type of system glitch?
oO?

When your in towns if I am not mistaken armors look worse... to keep from lagging everyone. When you go outside I believe all armors look better.

In town, armor on other people is low rez. Outside town or on yourself, it's a different story.

As was said, all armor textures become low resolution textures when in town. The resolution kicks up when outside those public areas. The screens you seeon Guildwiki (usually the ones at the character selection screen) are what the armors will look like outside the public areas.

Mmm, I prefer the cleaner 1.5k Kurzick to the busier 15k version myself... except perhaps for the 15k hauberk to cover the bare shoulder... and maybe the 15k helm. I think the 1.5 version has a cuter ass too, and that's important

I resemble that remark.
I found that mixing the 15k torso with 1.5 everywhere else looked best. Endowing armor in all the right places . . ..

AH SO THAT'S WHAT IT WAS...
I just noticed it too where certain armors in town looked ugly as hell and my armor looked the best...
1.5k Canthan Chimera blend of abilities... Bah...
Got to get me a nice new Luxom set [the demon armor looks good for Kurzich but I like the giant spiky dragonite look of the Luxom]
Executioner Helm collectors with sup. axe rune
Dreadnought's Cuirass of Sup. Abs.
Legionare's Boots and Gloves of Strength and Tactics respectively
Berserker Leggings of Sup. Vigor
Some say Legionare is the best armor vs. both ele and phys since a stance makes all of it 90+20 vs. phys... 90 - 110 AL is damn good but sometimes, I'm not in a stance [or worse, wild blow] and then getting nailed by multiple lighting spells REALLY starts to suck....
Dreadnought [aka dragon stats] seem to be the best in terms of all around defense... Not the ultimate vs. phys, but the best unconditional vs. elemental dmg. Am I thinking correctly in that regard or is there a better unconditional armor for the chest?

Yes Dreads is best "unconditional" for chest.
And yeah I was thinking about taking the leggings of the 1.5k as well, for the cute ass. LOL
But I would definately want the 15k helm, chest, boots, and gauntlets.

Another thing you can do while in a town to raise the rez and see armours as they should be is Up the graphics in your options menu.

O_o You people really like the ass on the 1.5k female kurzick better than the 15k? What, can't handle butts encased in silky silver contours?
Male warriors can't look good in any armor.

I'll admit that you look as good as possible for a male warrior in GW, but the comically bulky body model means that any female warrior standing next to you will look about 100x better ^_^.
