Default A/X Shadow Palm Sin

Since multiple people asked for it I am releasing this personal build for public use. it is know as the Shadow Palm Sin, or Hybrid Sin since it combines aspects of 3 build primarily. the builds combined are BoA sin, Siphon Strength sin, and my own personal Black Mantis Sin.

[skill]Shadow prison[/skill][skill]Iron Palm[/skill][skill]Falling Spider[/skill][skill]Horns Of The Ox[/skill][skill]Impale[/skill][skill]Signet Of Toxic Shock[/skill] (Optional) (Optional/Generic Resurrect)

Attributes: Dagger mastery - 10 (1{head}+1{rune}+8)
Deadly Arts - 15 (12+3{superior rune})
Critical Strikes - 8 (7+1{rune})

Recommended equipment: Head - Radiant, Bladed, Superior deadly Arts
Chest - Radiant, Major/Superior Vigor
Arms - Radiant, Attunement
Legs - Radiant, Minor Critical Strikes
Feet - Radiant, Minor Dagger Mastery
Daggers - Vamp/Sundering/etc., +5 Energy(recommended), Of Fortitude/Defense/Shelter/Etc.

How To Use: Choose your target then use [skill]Shadow Prison[/skill] Followed by [skill]Iron Palm[/skill] and then [skill]Falling Spider[/skill] then proceed with [skill]Horns Of The Ox[/skill] and end it with the double use of [skill]Impale[/skill] and [skill]Signet Of Toxic Shock[/skill].

Counters: Typical anti-Melee. (Empathy won't do well against them since you only attack twice, but blindness and blocking will.), interrupting iron palm with leave this build open for attack. Condition removal before the spike is completed. Thus I recommend you act like an assassin and take out unsuspecting targets, such as in a typical team (warrior, ele, monk, extra) to take out the monk when he is healing others.

Tips: Since you have 2 slots open and enough points for 8 ranks in any other attributes you can put in defensive or offensive skills. here's a couple I like to use

[skill]Way Of The Lotus[/skill] + [skill]Feigned Neutrality[/skill] and all attributes in shadow art.

Or

[skill]Fox Fangs[/skill] + [skill]Nine Tail Strike[/skill] Since Iron Palm counts as a lead attack. but anything can be put in there. for PvE I use

[skill]Death's Retreat[/skill] + (generic resurrect) since this gives you a heal and another shadow step as well as a way to up fallen teammates and I HIGHLY recommend a multi-use res like resurrect or flesh of my flesh, but otherwise meh. And since this build takes 20 or so seconds to recharge it is a solid shadow step build compared to others. for ensuring iron palm hits and knocks down without interference you can use

[skill]Sharpen Daggers[/skill] + [skill]Way Of The Lotus[/skill] and a bow and hit your target first to inflict a condition to which Iron Palm will knock them down, also gaining back energy when Horns Of The Ox hits. remember to put points into Shadow Arts.

Please be kind since this is my first build post. And essentially this is a spike build but is flexible for other areas.

good build but have you tried this with [skill]Assassin's Promise[/skill] and [skill]Dark Prison[/skill] instead of [skill]Shadow Prison[/skill]?
most of your chain takes 20secs to recharge..leaving you helpless. but meh, i'm just very impatient and absolutely hate waiting.

yes I have tried that but you take a gamble on that one, since you need your opponents a guranteed kill, not to mention it takes up two slots instead of one. otherwise you face an even longer recharge if he/she can counter well enough. I'd rather take a near guranteed 20 second recharge over gambling on a 45 second recharge and using an additional slot. not to metnion that, like I said, the last two slots can be used for anything you might want to add to it, such as a [skill]leaping Mantis Sting[/skill] or [skill]black mantis thrust[/skill] with [skill]jungle strike[/skill] to give you an additional damage source/chain starting point and another condition for snaring.

Assassin's promise is only worthwhile for plowing through NPCs and solo players in AB (and of course PvE mobs). Anywhere else you are already winning if you have that many unstopped spikes every 20 seconds, so better to focus on recovering from failed spikes faster than waiting 45 seconds.

Yes but Gladiator's Arena pvp doesn't allow us to post single builds. So that's why most people( me included ) post there pvp build in here ( and mention it's pvp ).

It is true that this build can be applied for PvP but it can also be applied for PvE. Either using the original build or using assassins promise and dark prison. but usually when i'm in a group we kill the target monster so fast that I don't really have a chance to unload my full bar so I target another high priority target other than one that was called. ex: an ele instead of the monk that was called. that way the monk NPC will focus on the ele and leave it open for mauling, or it will save itself and leave the ele for dead. for PvE i usually brind deaths retreat and some form of res, since deaths retreat has only 20 seconds fo recharge time, like the other skills, and i can res from the background as well. And thus if you want to use this for pve then use hit and run tactics on a second target but make sure not to get yourself in too deep, such as Shadow stepping right into the crowd, which would be bad since 1: you have lower armor than that tank nearby and 2: you would be right in everyones range. so go for priority targets that are on the rim of the group but not the highest priority(called) NPC. Usually you can do damage and, if any NPC's are dumb enough, will try to follow after you shadow step back and leave themselves in the focus fire range of your group.
