Hi everyone, just started to do some fow beach/spider cave farming with my W/Me, i've been getting quite a few shards, however, i seem to keep hearing good things about, W/rt smite crawler farming(i think that is it?).
So, my question, which method of farming is a) more profitable, and b) easier.

a) UW's ecto are 6k each. FoW's Shards are 3k each
b) W/Rt smite run is pretty safe.

UW with W/Rit is pretty easy and run takes 20-25 mins,and now in normal mode smites dont run away when they lose health to regen so its easier,so uw gets my voice

is it worth farming in Normal Mode or are the drops only good in hard mode

Normal mode is easier as they don't scatter. They drop fairly same amount of ectos.
However, nm drops are mostly non-maxed. If you wan maxed, do hm

i would say uw runs with w/rit build, but if you have an ele its way faster, i do avg 13 minute runs. about 1 ecto a run, but sometimes 2 or even 3.

If you have NF, you can bring heroes and kill aatxes to, takes about 26/30 minutes. Bring koss(dolyak, bonneti) just pure as meatshield, and flag him on stairs, bring SF hero and bring dunkoro (spoil victor, healing seed, and essence bond quick and hard healsfor energy).

If you do it as a w-rit i would sugest bring a necro with spoil victor necro and enfeeble , 1 monk with some healing and a ranger with dust trap and barbed trap for blind and cripple.

Tried it with my ele and it works. tried it 4 times and had 6 ecto on aatxes only and smites i had 5 ecto. about 8 gold times and lots of purps 4x27 minutes so avg 2 hours work 11 ecto

tried it in hard mode, but with ele it can not be done.
looking for way to do it with W/rit and i got a plan, need to work it out and will post it if it can be done.

Thnaks everyone for your opinions, it sure looks like UW is the way to go, i'll get right on it, as soon as Urgoz farming gets nerfed that is
