I cast SoD and then Death's Charge then Balanced Stance and begin to click in order through the skills until Blades of Steel. Use Healing Signet when needed. Balanced stance is so that you arent knocked down which can easily lead to the death of a sin. Balanced Stance is Particularly helpful in 1v1 against sins who use ox horns and knockdown skills.
Attributes are:
Dagger Mastery -- 15 or 16
Tactics -- Get it to as high as possible
Shadow Mastery -- Use as many points as you chose

in AB at least, my usual
[skill]Siphon Speed[/skill][skill]Expose Defenses[/skill][skill]Black Spider Strike[/skill][skill]Twisting Fangs[/skill][skill]Moebius Strike[/skill][skill]Critical Strike[/skill][skill]Critical Defenses[/skill][skill]Shadow Refuge[/skill]
for PvE:
[skill]Jagged Strike[/skill][skill]Temple Strike[/skill][skill]Wild Strike[/skill][skill]Death Blossom[/skill]
[skill]Jagged Strike[/skill][skill]Wild Strike[/skill][skill]Death Blossom[/skill][skill]Moebius Strike[/skill][skill]Critical Strike[/skill]
[skill]Parasitic Bond[/skill][skill]Black Spider Strike[/skill][skill]Twisting Fangs[/skill][skill]Moebius Strike[/skill][skill]Death Blossom[/skill]
Last couple of slots could be any one of the following: [skill]Expose Defenses[/skill][skill]Critical Eye[/skill][skill]Critical Defenses[/skill][skill]Critical Strike[/skill][skill]Black Lotus Strike[/skill][skill]Shadow Refuge[/skill][skill]Mending Touch[/skill][skill]Rebirth[/skill]
lots of flexibility. I bring Mending Touch if Blind is a big problem, and usually I have Shadows Refuge and Critical Eye. Sometimes I bring Rebirth or some type of res, depends on how I feel >_> The alternate attacks of course depend on the build
*is boring, but gets the job done* xD

I really like playing Assassin in Elona, theres just too much spiking damage in Canthan missions.
I know better variants of this have been posted already, but the build my 'sin is using now is:
[skill]Palm Strike[/skill][skill]Horns of the Ox[/skill][skill]Falling Spider[/skill][skill]Iron Palm[/skill][skill]Entangling Asp[/skill][skill]Signet of Toxic Shock[/skill][skill]Shadow Refuge[/skill][skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]
The problem with 90% of all the other "PvE" assassin builds out there is they all use Moebius Strike... Yet it's an elite that you must cap way down past the Vasburg armory. Good luck finding a group that wants an Assassin in Nahpui Quarter or Tahnnakai Temple if you don't have a build that can survive without Moebius Strike. Palm Strike is a fairly easy skill to cap (aside from killing Kenshi...he's a tough bastard.) so that's why I use it instead.
The deadly arts are really under appreciated IMO.

...[skill]tags save lives, Kuroi.
I don't see enough Flashing Blades love. It's been my elite since I capped it and I've beaten both Factions and Nightfall.
Your build interests me, Anti-Theory, how do you use it exactly?

That, and it's overpowered. You can use a similar build(I believe I posted earlier) with black spider strike, horn's of the ox, signet of toxic shock, impale, for more then enough to kill a target while not relying on nearly as much energy.

That would be Pal's variant. Not having a self heal is common in gvg, as is not having a res sig.

I'm sorry but...I haven't been playing for 2 months, but surely...that GvG variant can't do anything...
If you're not splitting, you need a res sig, and if you're splitting, you need a heal...

I used to use Temple Strike very often before SP/BoA, but it fell out of use for me since then. I love Temple Strike because it is versatile in use against casters and meleers, so I decided to mess around with it again the other day, and here is what I came up with:
[skill]Expose Defenses[/skill] [skill]Shadow Walk[/skill] [skill]Black Mantis Thrust[/skill] [skill]Temple Strike[/skill] [skill]Twisting Fangs[/skill] [skill]Natural Healing[/skill] [skill]Dash[/skill] [skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]
Dagger Mastery: 15 (11+1+3)
Critical Strikes: 13 (11+2)
Deadly Arts: 6 (5+1)
Wind Prayers: 7
Equipment:
Full Shrouded/Radiant armor; 1 Attunement rune; Superior Vigor; Zealous, +5 Energy, +30 Health daggers.
This gives a total of 40 energy, which is capable of unleashing the full combo without pause, spamming BMT for damage and cripple, and having leftover energy to use Natural Healing and Dash. 35 energy can handle the bar as well, but most of the time you will need at least a few swipes to get energy before using Twisting Fangs.
Usage:
Playing the class properly is most important and something that mainly can only be learned through experience. If you don't know who to target, and when, then you will suck no matter what. That said, I'll just explain why I like this so much.
Expose Defenses opens up your target, Shadow Walk takes you right to them, and BMT cripples a hexed target, providing you with a snare to land TS, TF, BMT again, and continue with normal attacks to interrupt and kill the target. Without a speed buff (because of Shadow Walk), BMT is a very important skill. Even if ED gets stripped, BMT can still be used to start the combo, sans cripple. Natural Healing is the strongest immediate-heal skill for the attribute point investment, and doesn't conflict with Shadow Walk. So, after the first combo, you can heal and have time to re-hex somebody and start the combo over again.
Since Temple Strike is focused more on disabling than killing, this build is really at its best when you have at least one other halfway competent team member. Playing in RA, this is a gamble, but fun as hell. I won my first 20-win RA/TA streak, and many easy gladiator points so far, with this build.

Like I said, it's one variant. Talking about a specific build without the context of the gvg build doesn't make much sense. I think the context of this variant is 2 paragons (signet of return) in addition to 2 res sigs. Here it was clearly decided that the assassin would benefit from the freed up skill slot more than an alternative player.
Fairly common example of a gvg build with no res/self heal, shadow prison builds who are expected to take out solo gankers will also have no self heal or res, expose is needed instead. Often they will be supported by the flagrunner who will have the necessary heals.

True about the shadow prisoners, but clearly this build can't do that.
Oh well...personal preference&a lot of trust in your monks I guess..

It's not a matter of trust trust. If you're being spiked, you don't hit healing signet. You switch to your 15/-5 furious +30 health spear and +30 health shield set. Often you will be able to use dash to save yourself. Basically, dash does more for your survival than healing signet, feigned neutrality or shadow refuge, you're making things easier for your monks than otherwise. And yeah personal preference has nothing to do with it, it's one facet of a team build.
