onerabbit, how long does it take you to kill the big group of the ghouls? They always run off and heal, so I've never really tried to see how long it took.

if you attack one, it wont run, so the one you attack dies pretty fast, once that 1 is dead, move onto the next, but it doesnt take long .. few mins to kill the lot.

and Symbol is good as is does 120-180dmg before they run, so can kill off the last lot, if there all low on HP.

Also, from the quest you do .. what are the drops like, i just did 2 runs and got 1 drop :S

Only the last 3 big mobs drop items. With the Bone Dragon in the last, it's really annoying, and I've found it's not worth it.

Yeah those assholes have like 26 in energy storage and get a big spike heal when they cast due to whatever that enchant is.

FWIW I run the Rangers and Sorcerers/Ghouls (meleers here must be taken no more than 3 at a time or they'll heal) outside of Bergen with a VWK Rt, for all you guys without monks there. Ridiculously easy to kill the rangers, I have so many gold Dead Bows I am sick of them. I've gone into Cursed Lands and had some success, but have gotten squat for drops for some reason.

Another fun trip for VWK, while we're on the topic of Undead Hordes, is the quest you run from Zos Shivros Channel, The Halcyon Job. I used to farm it to stock up on cloth for my anticipated surge in material demand for Nightfall armor (which turned out to be a total waste of time, godammit ). Now, on HM, you can hit the 3 Oni spawns on the way, as well as some Squids, and then the quest where you can currently loot gold armors and various weapons, including Platinum stuff. The Oni and Squids drop Monstrous rare materials, which is nice. Lots of XP in the trip. Probably not the most profitable run evar, but it's a fun one, particularly to see all the Luxon Assasins kill themselves in a few seconds when you get to the quest. Oh yeah and collector drops have some use as well (used to get zillions of Luxon Pendants which are traded for scrolls, but no longer while doing HM).

Over the past few days (more so during the weekend), I farmed outside bergen. Whenever I remembered to, I would take a pic of the gold drops (this is not all of them):

The ones that only say "You pick up ..." are from Locked Chests.
Among these drops is a 15^50 dead bow req 13 and a 15^50 sephis axe req 12 (both of which I still have). And I promise none of these are repeats.

I use PS/Mystic R/Shielding hands OR SoA/Smiting Skill (most work)/SoJ/Balth Spirit/Essence Bond/ Blessed Aura. I've been farming these guys ever since the first Halloween collectors showed up (Decayed Orr Emblems). ArenaNet reduced my Orr Emblem drops, which made this a good holiday farming spot (for me), but increased it's everyday farmability. I like it.

SoJ deals holy damage, meaning these undeads all take 106 dmg a hit while you calmly stroll around. They just die all around you.
VwK could work, but it would be much, much slower, and much harder.

Yeah I figures that. But I don't care, I don't have a monk or Rt, nor will I make one just for farming. Plus them skills are boring. Why quote me if you didn't attempt to answer the question?

Farming is often boring and profitable.
You could do a shadow form/haste build and kill the skellie rangers one by one with combos: it just seems like a huge waste of time to me.
