Has something changed with Prophecies Rune Farming?
Wow - I haven't played in Prophecies for 7 months - decided today to try to get
a couple of warrior runes - got 1 gold rune (ranger) in 4 hours of farming Ettins - used to get many gold runes. What happened to rune farming for superior runes?? I need: Superior Vigor (Warrior) Should I look in a different zone, OR maybe in Nightfall ( I am up to Vabbi)? thank you. |

Look at the rune trader's price of runes and you'll see a big surprise in the prices of back then and now... Runes were extremely overfarmed and now drop rate changed too... alot has changed in those 7months mate..

Farm in Hard mode;there's no reason not to. I can't tell you how many superior runes I can get in 4 hours, but 1 or more every 10-15 minutes is doable.
Don't farm Ettins. Off the top of my head, HM Grawl in Witman's Folly, Corsair in Moddok Crevice, and Jade Knights in Waijuun Bazaar are all decent spots. If you have Factions, check the "cantha's rarest" thread. |
