Default A/W PvE Moebius Build

Hi Every1, a friend saw a build simlar to this in GvG and decided to adapt it for PvE.

Ok, so here's the build

Stats - 12+3+1 Dagger, 12+1 Critical

[card]Jagged Strike[/card][card]Wild Strike[/card][card]Death Blossom[/card][card]Moebius Strike[/card][card]Flurry[/card][card]Critical Defenses[/card][card]Critical Eye[/card][card]Resurrection Signet[/card]
Optional - Way of Perfection (Remove 2 from Dagger add to shadow) Thnx to Samurai-JM

Usage-
+As u charge in use Critical Defence + Critical Eye
+Then use the chain from left to right. (If target is still alive, u can actually spam skill 3 and 4)
+Try to keep Flurry up constantly wile attacking

Ok, i hope u enjoy using it or at least trying!

EDIT: Just got shiro to half Hp solo ! Thanks TDD and Biscuits for helping me!

How long has this been known? VERY LONG. Some people also tend to bring Critical Strike to keep up Critical Defenses for sure. I have also seen people using Malicious Strike. This has been known for ages and is in no way new.

I diddent say it was new, just that i have adapted it slightly from the PvP version.

With 13 Critical and Critical Eye, there is no need for Critical Strike. You would b very unlucky to lose critical defences with flurry up.

PS. Cant b that well known if no1 else has posted it.

It's been posted alot It is a great build though. Critical Tanks like that(usually with way of the perfection or shadow refuge put in) can solo any physical damaging enemy, including Shiro

Thnx for the kind words of advice

i did try the way of perfection 1 for a bit, but i decided to go with flurry. Normaly i would have a couple of monks to heal the rare damage i take with crit defences up, so i went with IAS insted

Yeah, I use that build quite a bit, exept I tend to bring a heal like Feigned Neautrality instead of Flurry... So I guess it's quite different... :S Anyway if you're soloing, there's no need for the res signet, so you may as well bring a heal in that case. Or even if you want to risk no signet, a heal would help by tons.

Yup, Zenmai > Shiro (put Wild Blow and Critical Strike in there and off she goes )

umm...you gotta be joking...all of your skills are mostly 5 energy each except for 1 skill [skill]Critical Defenses[/skill]. Do you really need +energy armor?

I'm pretty sure I've seen Moebius --> DB posted here before, but that's neither here nor there. I think a lot of people develop this build (or something similar) independently. I developed the following while messing with the Minotaurs in Elona Reach:

GPS
DB
Moebius
Critical Strike (for when energy gets low and to gain health)
Way of Perfection
Critical Defenses
Critical Eye
Rez

Anyway, I've never been the biggest fan of Critical Defenses for general PvE. It has a really long recharge and you're usually not in fights that long. I know that, from time to time, it made me feel like I had to go rushing in to the next battle so that I wouldn't have to wait for crazy recharge.

I know I came up with something like that independently :O

And I know the build had been posted on wiki, which is now gone o_O Most known builds were posted on Wiki rather than here, which I always thought was interesting xD

I just never used an IAS because i never really felt a need for it.

and on your note about Shiro, yeaah that's variant has been posted already too xD

the Moebius + DB chains came around once it got the 2 sec recharge buff I believe. I know that's when I started using it more :33

And on what Sqube said, unless you're the only melee and therefore have to become the "tank" or not in a big party or something, then CD is sorta not needed in PvE. Unless you know there will be extensive melee damage =\

If you didn't have the IAS, I would say replace the IAS with Critical Strike and change to monk secondary to have a harder res. Which would seem ironic for a sin to res all of their members...but that's what *I* usually end up doing if I actually care about it xD

Or keep the IAS and take out Critical Eye and replace THAT with Critical Strike so you're doing a DB + MS + CS chain :O Get more energy and more sure of getting those Crits in

critical eye is actually pretty good, its give more energy then just using critical strike. cos all skills have a high chance of hitting critical with every skill. with zelous daggers + blossom u can gain 10 energy if u get criticals with both of the 2 hits.

crit defences is great, death is the reason ppl hate sins. it makes u die quite alot less

All skills have a higher chance of getting a crit with Critical Eye, 'tis true. Critical Strike, on the other hand, is money in the bank and does damage.

It's up to personal preference, but they both work well.

Well... IAS isn't going to fix the recharge time, and 'sins are no slower than anyone else.

As a matter of fact, with double-strikes, we're not that bad at all.
