Default Strange BM anti-caster

So, my main is an assassin lately and I've been going around end-game hard mode trying to find ways not to die other than constantly teleporting away from monsters. I came up with the following. So far it works "ok", but could use some input as it seems kind of weak:

A/R
16 Deadly Arts
12 Beast Mastery

Assassin's Promise
Bestial Pounce
Savage Pounce
Bestial Maul
Otyugh's Cry
Call of Haste
Charm Animal
Comfort Animal

Use all +energy armor, and a bow with +5 energy. If you're not mowing down targets, energy can be hard to come by. Luckily, you have 4 pips of regen as an assassin.

The idea is very simple. 1) Sick your pet onto a caster. Use your pet buffing shouts so that it cannot be blocked and has 25% IAS. 2) Spam the pounce skills until you successfully interupt a spell and knock the target down. This is sometimes not easy! 3) Immediately use Bestial Maul to cause 9 second daze.

Between your bow attacks and your pets 25% IAS, once the target is dazed it is essentially constantly interrupted.

Use Assassin's Promise on ANYTHING that might die soon (not just your target) to refresh all skills and gain energy back.

Unlike Ferocious Strike, AP will help the long recharge on Bestial Maul. Meaning, that you can keep a target dazed indefinitely if you are quick enough to both effectively use AP on dying targets and get your pet to successfully 'pounce'.

But - like I said, it seems like a lot of work for an interrupt build with no self-heals or balance. Any ideas on how to improve this? Swap out something?

I was also dabbling with the idea of combining AP and Serpent's Quickness since they synergize well ... but Wilderness Survival is underwhelming by itself.

1st,go R/*
2nd,Drop Assassin's Promise and take Enraged Lunge(Elite) or Heal as One(Elite) then you don't need Comfort Animal, take Brutal Strike and then it is ok.

Savage Pounce
Bestial Mauling
Poisonous Bite
Brutal Strike
Otyugh's Cry
Call of Haste
Heal as One
Charm Animal

but,I am not sure if you need Daze....then go...

Poisonus Bite
Discrupting Lunge
Enraged Lunge
Call of Protection
Call of Haste
Comfort Animal
Charm Animal
Res/Otyugh's Cry/Predatory Bond/or anything else (if you go R/Rt take Nightmare Weapon for you)
Enraged Lunge have armor ignoring damage(I do almost always 90-106 damage)

No reason to not use Lightning Reflexes if you have AP.
Use a dagger chain and follow Horns of the Ox or Entangling Asp with Bestial Mauling.

Unfortunately, Bestial Mauling is one of the most inefficient ways to apply dazed in the game. Assassin's Promise in your build is also not a very good idea since it doesn't deal much damage. Tbh, I think you would be better off using a dagger based Assassin's Promise build and tossing in Awe after Horns of the Ox. Otherwise, use either Broad Head Arrow or some sort of Assassin Elite to daze.

That would require being a R/A/P however. I use Temple Strike sometimes, it's ok, or stick to bows. Temple Strike's versatility (blind or daze as needed) is a major selling point. I agree that Bestial Pounce is pretty bad for adding Daze, unless you are using a hammer - it would be rough not being able to daze because your enemy had a guy next to them.
