Fav Rit PVE Elite
Decided out of boredom (my 2nd birthday present didn't do it for me lol) to remake my rit with the intention of getting legendary survivor.
Now i've gotten LS before so i don't need tips on getting it, but having not touched my rit in 7 months and having a elite rit tome sitting around i was wondering what you guys think is the best Rit Elite in PVE at the moment?
Not for farming Etc. just general PVE'ing. thanks a bunch in advance guys

It really depends on the build. Do you want a spirit spammer build, rest rit or channeler? Attuned Was Songkai is one of the better elites to me just because it can be used for most types of builds but it really depends on which way you run your rit.

I actually like soul twisting a lot in PvE.
But if you're going for legendary survivor, go straight-up spirit bomber: max communing, high channeling, rest into spawning and:
[skill]pain[/skill][skill]bloodsong[/skill][skill]shadowsong[/skill][skill]anguish[/skill][skill]Wanderlust[/skill][skill]Painful Bond[/skill][skill]Shelter[/skill][skill]Boon of Creation[/skill]
Place shelter waaay back, so you're the only one or one of the few within it's reach, and you should be fine.

PvE in general. If you want to xp farm, then go with this:
[skill]Protective Spirit[/skill][skill]Shielding Hands[/skill][skill]Vengeful was Khanhei[/skill][skill]Vengeful weapon[/skill][skill]Ancestors' Rage[/skill][skill]Spirit Rift[/skill][skill]Essence Bond[/skill][skill]Balthazar's Spirit[/skill]
Prot 9
Rest 16
Channeling 11(or 12, dont remember)
All +3 runes(should lower your hp to either 105 or 135, depending on having or not an hp mod on your offhand), rest 20% HSR offhand, Totem Axe.
Keep either VwK or SH up at all times, spamming vengeful weapon and the channeling nukes as you go. This build is not mine(well the variation is, but the base isn't).

Personally I think [wiki]Grasping Was Kuurong[/wiki] is an awesome elite...but you are going for survivor so...
Wanderlust is "ok" as an elite imo, but when I'm going Spirit Spammer I much prefer Ritual Lord, then again I also take Displacement, SHelter and Union - Displacement shouldn't be used without Rit Lord, it just dies too fast!
In the Restoration line...yes, probably [wiki]Weapon of Remedy[/wiki] is the nicest. Could consider combining it with [wiki]Protective was Kaolai[/wiki], [wiki]Vengeful Weapon[/wiki] and [wiki]Renewing Memories[/wiki].

I've no idea why people keep bringing weapon of remedy up: It's weaker than VwK, and people have to hit you for it to work (people with 60 armor don't like to be hit). Where are you using this? PvP? That'd be laughable.

It's quick, cheap healing with conditional removal.
VwK is a farming skill, Weapon of Remedy is used to support party members, not solo mobs.

...IF someone hits the dude. If not and this is your condition removal, he just degens to death, or stays blind for the duration. Seems sucky to me.

You've obviously never seen N/Rt's in action (but that's a PvP story)
Weapon of Remedy would never be your only heal on your bar if you were play restoration rit, if we are out of battle and someone is suffering from degen then I would use spirit light / mend body and soul.
It's a spell to be used in combat to remove conditions and as I said, quick heals - have you not noticed how PvE mobs will train and sit on targets, rarely swapping.
Eg. Afflicted Rangers have dazed, most monk condition removal suffers a great increase on cast time from dazed, however weapon of remedy would only take 1/2 a second to cast under the effects of dazed, making it much easier to remove dazed off yourself if needed (or said dazed monk) because if they were already attacking him unless he's dead they'll keep attacking him.
And to reiterate, you're comparing 2 elites with completely different functions to each other.

No, actually I'm not comparing it to anything. I just can't fathom why someone with mend b&s would take this with his and waste an elite slot. Its not like the recharge in mb&s is bad.

Vengeful Weapon and Weapon of Remedy are a deadly combination: they allow one to heal themselves or an ally while dealing unconditional damage to the attacker.

Well you were giving points on how VwK is so much better, as far as heal Rits have for elites it's either WoR or Preservation.
WoR's appeal is the 1/4 cast, condition removal and life steal (rather than a pure heal).

If you want to be a restoration ritualist, imo.. I dont really think that any of the restoration elites are really worth the elite slot. Usually I just take an energy management elite like Attuned Was Songkai or Spirit Channeling and it would be fine.
For a spirit spammer, I would take Wanderlust as your elite and use Essence Strike or Spirit Siphon as your energy management. Another plus from the channeling attribute is Painful Bond, which adds a handful of damage. You can also take Ritual Lord or Soul Twisting if you want to be more efficient in PvE and make your spirits recharge faster since you'll almost always be moving in PvE except for in certain missions.

It may be kinda boring, but i just like to run the good old rit lord build. I also may go with preservation or spirit light weapon if i go resto.
