I always see them drop from <plants> so I suppose if one wanted to get the best odds of getting a good one one could solo farm <plants> on plains of Jarin, garden, or elsewhere in vabbi from plants. I'd probably go Vabbi, but mostly because I think you'll have a better chance of getting other good drops as well.

I've been chest running Vabbi in the past few days, and I've gotten 2 bramble blades from the chests, and they were both around a group with plants in them. Also had one drop from a Plant in Arkjok Ward, so I think the theory behind them dropping from plants is a good one.

i also found a gold one in Cliffs of Dohjok, out of Campions Down, HM of course, from a plant.
