Farming the Falls, R/Mo + Mo/Me
This build is for 600hp Mo/Me Spirit Bonder and R/Mo Smiter. The monk will need Aura of Faith and the ranger smiting skills and Escape. You will also need Hard Mode unlocked in Tyria.
Okay, i know i shouldn't release this... But here it is. Farming build for The Falls, now tribal axes will fall like dead swords!
Well, I'd also like to give half of the cred to Mistical Miss, who did this build with me, thanks
Okay, so you start from ventaris refuge... The ranger is running to Reed Bog... There he continues to The Falls. His skill are those:
Retribution
Holy Wrath
Balthazars Spirit
Escape
Zojuns Haste
Dodge
Purge Conditions / Mending Touch
Rebirth
His attributes:
Max smiting and split equally in Expertise and Protection Prayers
[Wanted to get done quick so i ran with my ranger on Normal Mode]
When they are at The Falls ranger casts skill 1-3 on the monk.
The monk throws up his 1-3 too.
Monks skills:
Life Attunement
Vital Blessing
Essence Bond
Aura of Faith
Blessed Signet
Mantra of Resolve
Protective Spirit
Spirit Bond
Monks attributes
12 + 1 Protection Prayers
12 + 1 Divine Favor
Now start following the road. At first enemies there will be about 8 spiders. Should be a problem if you keep up Aura of Faith and Mantra of Resolve combined with prot spirit and spirit bond, keep an eye so you recast spirit bond each time it ends.
When you come to where to path splits, take the left road.
Kill all enemies and keep going until you see a ranger boss. He will have 2 troll around himself, that shouldnt be a problem since they will need time to charge adrenaline for knockdown and theyre only 2.
When you have killed the boss, go up the road where he was. There shall be a vine bridge with 1 group of losarus on each side. Throw up prot spirit + spirit bond and run up on the bridge, agrooing as many enemies you can!
When they are dead go over the bridge and follow the path going down.
There should be one group of losarus and a bunch off popup spiders. Kill those.
And thats about the run. If you're lucky like me you get a max damage tribal axe. Will add pictures as soon mummy stops patroling my room watching if I'm doing my homework or not.
And by the way, since this hasn't yet been overfarmed It's awesome drops. I've had about 5 tribal axes, white / blue max damage!
This is from first run i did. If you remove summit hammer the rest is what we got dropped on one run! About 120 enemies

Impressive. Shame that you can't use a hero for 1 of the jobs since both actively need to do something.
How long does it usually take you? I assume you can just zone and restart too if your inventories aren't full too so it could be worth looking into.

Unless you can get a handy guildy to run the first part and leave.
Then the ranger could go Mo/R and bring some other speed-it-up skills

No. I don't think the Mo/R could handle the run. And it takes about 10-20 minutes, dpending if you die or not.

I'd guess you died at least 3 times... probably more (considering killing stuff would work off death penalty)...
Pity it isn't anything I expect I'll ever be able to do.... Heck, right now I don't even understand precisely how it works....
I'll go back to solo-farming easy spots..... dabbling in the 55 playpen until I get good at it.

hey m8 u have your monk skill bar on the screenshot is different from the skill set u talk on the guide. And the skill set doesnt heal very much.. the build u have on the screenshot is better due to divine boon.
but the rest is cool.. ty

The healing is perfectly fine without divine boon though ^^ Aura of Faith Ftw and yeah its better if the ranger doesnt have to do the vital blessing, because the vital blessing is bigger if the monk applies it himself.

If you have all enchants up theres a huge heal from divine boon ...
First we have divine boon + divine favor which give a neat off +100
The we have aura of faith that gives +152
Then we have life attunement thats give +225
So. It's +225 health ... kinda good. I just annoy myself on blessed aura. And theres also another good thing. If you are fighting an enemie hitting under 80 you have your divine boon ... So, its handsome.
