Does anyone know the drop rate of the staff with no henchmen and with henchmen?? Does it drop more often if you yourself take the most damage from Ghial and not henchmen? I've been trying to get it all day with no success. Any ideas?

I'm no green farmer, but my current understanding is that in an 8-man team everybody has an equal chance at any loot dropped. Flagging henchman or heros away has no effect on giving yourself a better crack at getting the "drop".

Also, would this be better served in the Q&A forum?

Edit: Taking the most or least damage has no bearing on loot. You can do 0 damage and still get a drop, provided you are within the area (Map circle perhaps?)

no one really knows anything about drop rates now. there was just a drop rate update.

I've solo'ed Ghial many times, and got his staff multiple times. Droprates are just as any other greens so it could take some while, especially after the update. Try flagging all you henchies and heroes @ the start and go completely solo to Ghial, that would give the best chances.

Thanks for all the help, but i'm a Minion Master Build and the only damaging attacks I have without minions is Deathly Swarm and Rotting Flesh. I can't solo because I get killed straight away! Any ideas as to what I can do?

dont solo? you should have the same drops with a group, if not better.

So solo farming post-update is just as good as farming with heros? that sounds pretty stupid to me >.<

Umm... how about learning builds other than MM? And... learning about solo?
