The only Prot spells to which it might apply are Mend Ailment (only if the target has >1 Condition on them when cast), Mend Condition, Restore Condition (which nobody uses) and Mark of Protection. The others either cause Health gains (which is not the same as Healing), prevent damage or have other beneficial effects.

This skill is fun. I used it on one of my characters when I did the Thirsty River mission. It came in especially handy for the left-most monk boss and priest in the final part of the mission. Slap Scourge Healing on both the boss and priest and then focus fire one of 'em, watch 'em burn
I'm making one of my guildmates take this into GvG, its just too fun to leave home.

I have yet to fully test it out, but I believe delfin42 is correct...spells like RoF bybass Scourge Healing, so a Boon Protect Monk can actually get away with casting something like RoF and not be bothered at all.....based on this of course, you can see that DF is not affected either...I'll need to test this more to see for sure.

Healing breeze and heal party bypass it also.
AFAIK the only skills that trigger it are orison, kiss, word, other, touch, and infuse.

I'm pretty sure it triggers on "Heal Party". While I did the Ring of Fire mission with my monk some monk boss put scourge healing on several of the npcs. When I used heal party I got some really nice 300ish damage ... ouch.
Healing signet is affected, too.

It triggers on Ether Feast as well, if I recall correctly.

I don't know about regular Reversal, but it definitely triggers on Reversal under Divine Boon. Some me/mo threw it on my boon protter in the arena yesterday. Not fun to deal with even when you have hex removal, since it recharges so quickly.

You are probably right NatalieD...thinking back...I think my boon may have been shattered or stripped...I have to say I don't remember...I'll have to test this out...I wish they would implement the in-guild test arena soon.

Mo + N option
If you're a N/Mo, Mo/N then use this in conjuction with Spiteful Spirit to be the ultimate bane of monks.

It triggers on Healing Signet, as I have found out on occasional Icy Dragon Sword runs. Myd Springclaw, the boss you kill to cap Shield of Judgement, sometimes casts it on you. I found out the hard way when I had just escaped a mob, was low on health, and decided to heal while I had a breather. I died. Before "WTF?!?" could even leave my lips, I saw the pink "-84 Scourge Healing" floating above my head. Craptastic, I tell you.

Hex removal won't save them...
Look at Scourge Healing's recharge time.. You can just recast it like that.
Assuming you have any sort of necro with at least some minor blood skills, parasitic and siphon will usually be cast. Chances are it'll be quite easy to not only cast scourge healing, but keep it maintained on several targets.
Furthermore, constantly recasting this will waste the hex removers time and skills making them that much more vulnerable.

I wish this skill was more like: Deals holy damage to healer and foe being healed. It would be very annoying for monks, but it wouldn't be overpowered since they will still get their heal through.

I, uh, might be wrong about this. It didn't seem to trigger on anything my boon prot did last time it was put on me. But I know it did the time before that. I'm confused.
The only thing I can think of is that maybe the more-than-one-condition healing from Mend Ailment triggers it, but Favor, Boon, and Reversal don't.

Scourge Healing + Scourge Enchantment + necro hexer for covers. Make the other monks think twice before using LoD or aegis.

Last I checked, it triggered for each hex that Divert Hexes removes, even if Scourge Healing itself was removed. So it's kinda evil.

running something like n/mo with smite and blood.....with offering of blood is very affective at spreading out many of these smite hexes in a short time (blood/curse covers required). Watch the flagger heal party spammer go poof!
Its an underused skill..the scourger. However, no good team will let a scourger run wild. Its just fun. Like frag spiker. it doesnt always work due to effective counters, but when its doing its job, good times.
On the pve side, its incredibly strong and should be used more often! especially against hardmode monks that seem to have endless energy and spam heals constantly.
