Capture sign to get skills
I was just wondering...what skills are there that you can get by using capture sign that u wouldn't normally be able to get until much later on in the game, where u would have 2 buy them? I don't mean elites, I mean normal, good skills. Call me impatient, but I like to get good skills as early as I can.

Well, the only one that comes to the top of my mind is Animate Bone Fiend. you can easily get run to draks, but if you don't like that approach, in the Gates of Kryta mission, a necro boss sometimes spawns and he has it..sorry i cant help you further since your an E/Me, but the way i would do it is find a group of monsters that use your skill.
Say Rodgorts Invocation, search it up, and see what monsters use it. then to cap it, all you need to do is find a boss of that type and profession.

One such skill that comes to mind would be Verata's Sacrifice - essential for a MM, previously only available towards the end of the game (Copperhammer Mines). Other than that skill, I can't think of any others that it would be worth the hassle. With the introduction of one of the recent updates, you can unlock the skill through Faction (eew, PvP) and then buy it for your character at any skill trainer.

By the way, does anyone know of any bosses that have rodgorts invocation? Preferably bosses that you would be able to find before you actually reach the trainer who sells the skill.

I was just using that as an example, but the only monsters that come to my mind that use this skill are the spark of the titans in ring of fire, so i dont tihnk you can get it any sooners.

You can't cap skills off of the Sparks, though, since they're not bosses =\ The only boss that comes to mind that has Rodgort's Invocation is this one, and that's at the very end of the game (and after Grotto).
It'd likely be easier just to play a little bit of the PvP content for Faction points, unlock it and then buy it from any skill trainer.

I didnt say you can cap it off titans, but what i said before when searching for this kind of thing is:
1. Find an area where monsters use that skill
2. Find a boss in that area with it.
If im correct, that boss is from hells precipace and you can also cap mind burn of him..and the spark of the titans are in that mission, so my method was not that wrong

I find it easier to just hop on a PVP character, get 1k faction, unlock the skill at a priest, then hop on your other character and the unlocked skill will be on every trainer (except elites)
Most convenient way I've found of getting a skill on RP char long before they should normally be able to acquire it.

I always thought that cap sigs should only cost the skill point so then players have more incentive to capture regular skills instead of simply buying them like it was early in the game.

Definitely. I'm sure the majority of us buy our skills from trainers. it would add to the game a great deal if using capture sign was a better and more practical way to obtain skills.
