Default What are the top weapons for ELE/MO & How do I raise my max Fire Att Points? Have 16f

I do alot of FoW and UW runs and I currently use the collector staff with two +29hp mods and damage +20% from the weapons smith. I had the flame wand and kindelrock but sold because they use to be worth money now they are worthless.

I have superior fire +3 and the fire eye +1 for a total of 16f always, how can it make it more ? I was told there is a way to make it 18f+ ?

A. I like the collector's flame wand better than Rago's, but the Kindlerock better than the collector's.

B. If I'm using enchantments, I use Rago's Flame Staff. If not, I may toggle between the wand/Kindlerock combo and my Defensive Collector's Staff of Defense.

C. Glyph of Elemental Power takes Fire Magic up to 18 for one spell. I don't see the point.

D. Various items give a 20% chance of taking Fire Magic up by 1. I like that property on the Kindlerock better than the 20% chance of fast casting on the collector's artifact. But I'd rather have +5 Defense or +30 fortitude than 20% chance of +1 Fire Magic as a staff wrapping. It's not even close.

Default Gain in skill = loss in hit points

Francis brings up a good point, greens tend to trade hp for a skill boost that you could probably live without. If you have a full group with monk support it might not matter, but in faming or hench use it could kill you more often.

You could use Glyph of Elemental Power just before a Meteor Shower / Meteor. Otherwise, I don't really see a point, the only class that can easily get 18+ in an attribute is the necromancer, and they can only do it in curses and blood magic.
