he was, and with the new offerings at the res tempels, and a death magic + 1 (20% chance) rod or focus, it may be possible to get a level 27-28 flesh golem

I use Offering of Blood also. I bring Blood Ritual for the monk(s) and Blood Renewal to offset sac'ing while not fighting.

I'm guessing most of you haven't actually tried virulence. I love the skill, I use enfeeble and virulence on the warriors and it saves minion lives. Not only does it do -8 health degen for 16 seconds to 1 enemy but it does -4 for 16 seconds to any nearby(disease). Weakness on their wariors or rangers will make your minions seem twice as tough. Plus enfeeble and virulence combine for 10 energy and 2 seconds of casting. If any of you have a warrior you know how much weakness sucks, give it a try.

It's good vs. a single (or a few) enemies, but in PvE Tombs for instance, you just won't have the time (or energy) to cast it, with all the bodies that need to be used.

I usually only use it on the Grasps which come 2 or 3 a time. If the puller sets a trap I an virulence the first guy and enfeeble the next grasp with a 5 second recast you can enfeeble the 3rd grasp then. I usually hit Verata's Sacrifice between to keep the fiends health up and give the horrors an extra couple seconds. That right there cuts those warriors in half. I really don't worry about the enemy casters since the minions and barrage tear them to shreds in seconds anyways. As far as the energy, 10 energy is nothing to a MM in tombs. Especially before there are any bodies available. It helps on the wurms and darkness at the end as well. I haven't tried it in Sorows furnace yet but I might tonight.
